Encased in a X-Craftic alloy frame and side plates, the Abu Garcia REVO Beast Casting Reel features a Power Stack Carbon Drag System that generates an astounding 30lbs of max drag pressure, so you can go toe-to-toe with the toughest predators.
Focusing on performance as much as muscle, the Abu Garcia REVO Beast Casting Reel is equipped with D2 Gear design and Dura Gear brass gearing, which works with the 7-stainless steel HPCR bearings to provide buttery-smooth operation. Optimizing performance with baits of all sizes, the Abu Garcia REVO Beast casting Reel is equipped with an Infini brake system and Infini II Spool that that provides more adjustability, and less inertia, so you get more control over big baits.
Providing the enhanced leverage and comfort for power techniques, the Abu Garcia REVO Beast Casting Reel is fitted with an extended, bent handle with power knobs. Comments: This reel is so underrated it's ridiculous! After trying so many heavy, clunky and uncomfortable 300 sized reels I finally broke down and gave this one a shot. I now own 3 of them! It's extremely smooth, powerful and casts a mile. I've thrown up to 8oz swimbaits on mine with no issues. You get all the line capacity of a 300 sized spool with the frame and weight of a 200-250 size reel. Best of both worlds IMO. Don't sleep on this reel if you're looking for something that can handle anything.

Comments: This reel is as the name hints, BEASTLY. I throw big 4-6oz swimbaits with mine and it's handled the baits, and a couple 6 pound bass that I caught this season flawlessly. After one season using the reel probably 50 times it still feels brand new. Love and trust Abu Garcia products. The Beast X is also a great reel.
