Comments: I have my father's jointed Jitterbug that he bought in the 1960's. I've been using it since the 1990's. There is no better night fishing lure. Smallmouth and Largemouth will hit it like a brick. I've bought new ones over the years but the original jointed black one still works. You don't really need different colors, just buy one and hang on to it. It's very sturdy for a top water lure, so if you take good care of it should last a long while. My son is now about to turn 7 and I'm looking forward to being able to pass a lure that is over 50 years old on to him.

Comments: I bought this thinking it was a popper but I started reeling it in to find it makes a great action and a sweet bubbling sound. Hold on to your pole because they will hit this one hard.

Comments: Its an amazing bait with great action. Perfect for night fishing. Only complaint I have is that the hooks bent the first time I hooked up a 3 pound bass. Its easy to change out the hooks & I would recommend doing that unless you want to lose fish.

Comments: Turn a jointed Jitterbug into a swimming surface rat. This is done by unscrewing the mounting on the rear, opening the stainless steel screw eye, remove the treble hook off replacing it with a snap or a #4 Owner Hyper Wire split ring. Close the stainless steel screw eye, then place some Gorilla Glue on the shaft. Turn the screw until it is tight and in a horizontal position; the snap or split ring should be vertical. Let dry, then attach a Mustad Ultra Grip-Pin Edge 1/0 - 3/0 hook pointing up. All that is left is choosing one of the many finesse worms, and rig it open (non-weedless). Make sure to take the worm off during storage to prevent melting. Enjoy having fun with these vintage style topwater lures with a twist, or fish them straight out of the box. Catch a limit or a fish of a lifetime!
