NEVER WORRY ABOUT FORGETTING YOUR DRAIN PLUG AGAIN!!
Now Standard Equipment in Ranger, Skeeter, and Vexus Boats, the Bass Boat Solutions Flow-Rite Remote Drain Plug makes complying with Quagga Mussel regulations easy. With the simple turn of a knob, this cable-operated system is controlled from the driver’s console of your boat. That means no more crawling around on your hands and knees to install or remove your drain plug.
The Bass Boat Solutions Flow-Rite Remote Drain Plug also features re-designed elements. The drain plug housing now utilizes a mesh design that prevents any debris from causing problems, while glass-filled nylon makes the drain plug actuator tee handle super strong for trouble-free operation. The drain plug and housing have also been improved to provide smooth and watertight operation.
The Bass Boat Solutions Flow-Rite Remote Drain Plug is also now available in three cable lengths:
6-foot Cable - For splashwell mounted control. Boat manufacturers have chosen this location as standard equipment. 8-foot Cable - For small to medium size boats for splashwell or console mounted control. 10-foot Cable - For medium to large size boats for console mounted control.
Detailed installation instructions and mounting hardware included.

Comments: I installed the 8 ft. system in my 92 Stratos 285 pro xl.... It was easy to install and by carefully running the cable in a long sweep so it wouldn't restrict itself. It works flawlessly as long as you make sure the system is clean and I use bore butter periodically to make sure the O-ring doesn't dry out for a good seal... No issues!!!! Love it!!!! 5 out of a 5 star review!!! About to install the 10 ft. system on my 97 201 Pro elite...

Comments: This product is inferior, it has been installed on 2 boats I have owned, most recently a brand new '23 Caymas. I had to replace the one on my last boat because the cable detached from the plug mechanism. After fishing out of the new boat a few times, this one has broken. Oiling the o-ring is wise but doesn't always solve the problem, this one broke right after I lubed it. I did this because it was super tight when I got the boat and knew from experience it wouldn't last unless I did something. That didn't work out. Will someone please tell me why there isn't a quality remote drain plug? If there is one out there, will someone tell my why any boat manufacturer uses this brand.
From: Michael: 3/11/23
Comments: As most reviews state, 50/50 at best of it seals. Furthermore, the customer service from Rite Hite is atrocious. The handle broke after a month of use. I reached out them for a warranty replacement. They wanted proof of purchase which I gladly provided from my boat dealer who did the install. They still would not replace the unit as they wanted proof of purchase of when my boat dealer purchased the item, not when it was installed on my boat. Absolutely insane. This tells you that they don't stand behind their product and must know that they are crap to be begin with!

Comments: Garbage. It is 50/50 on whether it will work. Had this installed on a brand new 90K bass boat.. Doesn't work for _____. I tried silicone lubricant (not that kind of silicone lubricant!) and it still doesn't work. Will not seal all the way. So I need to get on all fours and push it in the rest of the way. Then at the end of the day, I have to get back down with a pair of pliers to pull it out.

Comments: Launched my boat today at a local lake and parked my truck. I was in a little hurry due to late start, so I ran down to my boat and headed off to the other side of the lake. Due to not having an automatic bilge pump, I didn't realize I left my drain plug out until I stopped and starting fishing. Lucky for me I installed a remote drain plug last week, so with a turn of a switch and turned on the manual bilge pump, I avoided a real problem. Thanks for a great product!
From: Ralph: North Carolina 2/4/22
Comments: After installing this product, I noticed that my automatic bilge pump was kicking on periodically.Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the plug would not seat properly in the on position without additional force applied. Also, this additional force required to seat(close) the plug properly was ALSO required to UNseat(open) the plug. After performing the seating and unseating operation several times, I noticed that the handle felt different, and the plug wasn't moving. The reason was that the cable had bent near the handle lever. This bend then snapped. The cable is now broken. This plug no longer works with the handle.I will need to remove my gas tank in my boat to replace this.I have sent an email to the company explaining my problem.I have had no response. There is no phone number to call. The website causes my browsers(multiple) to give me a warning that the website is unsafe and may cause the disclosure of personal information to third parties.I was truly excited and proud to have this product installed on my boat.I am now upset and disappointed it is there.I cut a hole in my boat to accommodate this thing. That hole is now forever there.Buyer beware. This company seems to have ZERO customer support. This product has a SERIOUS design flaw.I regret purchasing this product. From: Jeff: Lawrence, KS 11/4/20Comments:Straight forward installation when following the included installation instructions. Easy to use once installed and works great! No more crawling under the boat and hitting my head on the power poles just to install or remove the drain plug. Thanks! From: George, TX 9/11/20
Comments:JUNK! DON'T BUY THIS. It seems to work ok when try to open and close it but it doesn't seat all the way most of the time so it lets lots of water into the bilge. I took it out 5 times to try and figure out what was wrong with it but no luck. DON'T wast the 90 dollars. Now I also have a hole where i mounted the lever. From: Randy: Hastings 6/19/20
Comments:Simple to install and you will not have to worry about your plug being out while on the water. Just look at your dial and you have your answer. From: Rick: Talladega, AL 2/20/20
Comments:At the TBF Nationals, Table Rock Lake I used their Ranger with a flowrite remote drain plug and on three different occasions it didn't seatcorrectly and the bilge pumps came on. I have one on my personal boat, headed to the Marine store to buy a standard drain plug to remove it, it doesn't seat correctly and on the lake today my bilge pump was running quite a bit. Checked it when I pulled the boat out and it was no longer seated. From: Russ: 1/11/20
Comments:Just got as a Christmas present. Pretty easy to install. Can't wait to start using it as waters where I live do mandatory invasive species checks before launch.
From: Russ - New Mexico 1/20/19
Comments:Awesome product but beware! Did not fit in my phoenix drain hole! Had to have a plate made to cover existing hole with a cut out for this product. Existing hole is too large. Simple fix, but still adds time and work.
From: Kevin - North Carolina 3/16/18
Comments:this is a life saver up north it gets cold and the last thing i want to do is lay down on a wet ramp to remove/insert the drain plug i even forgot to close it once when dumping the boat and the best part was i just closed the valve and turned on the bilge pump and a few min later it was like it never happened no getting wet or pulling the boat back out to insert the plug
From: Andrew: FORESTDALE,MA 11/1/17
Comments:One day I split my head open on the back of my Power Pole bracket after trying to get up from putting the drain plug in. That was the day I promised myself I'd find a better way to do this. This is an absolute must for anyone with a boat. Super easy to install and very clean looking once installed.

From: GMan: NC 5/4/16
Comments:This is by far one of the best things I have added to the boat. I hardly ever leave feedback by this one deserves it! If you have been contemplating this purchase, just order it. You won't be disappointed.
From: Tom: Coconut Creek, FL 3/6/16
Comments:Ordered one last week, installed this weekend took about and hour. Every boat should have one, and new boats should be a standard. No more getting on my knees and wet pants.
From: Doug: Arlington, TX 4/6/15
Comments:This is the best investment as far as saving the hassle of crawling under the boat and installing or removing the drain plug. As I unhook the boat, undo the transom straps, stow the transom saver, and finally hop in the boat and rotate my boats plug inward and done! Totally worth the investment of $89!! I mounted it right next to me and my gear selector.
From: Carbon Z520: USA 2/4/15
Comments:While a bit pricey, it is one of the things I did to make the ramp set-up time quicker. Another big plus is no longer having to crawl on the ground to get to the plug. I chose the 6ft option and mounted the control on the rear deck. Install was pretty easy, and I planned it for when I was pulling the oil tank and battery plate to work on livewells. If I was doing it again, I would make the same choice. It's worth it.
From: Ed: Dallas, TX 11/14/14
Comments:This is one of the best things to add to any boat. I have a 1996 nitro savage 884 and the install was a breeze. The hardest part was running the cable which took about 15 minutes. Install altogether took about 45 minutes. I purchased the 6ft model to install in my splash well area. Works as advertised!!! I will never own another bass boat without one. No more laying on the ground to put the plug in or take it out!!! Thanks Bass Boat Solutions and TW!!!
From:Greg: Sallisaw, OK
Comments:My bass boat drain plug was way underneath my boat this is great simple installation takes maybe 2 hrs and works as advertised no more having to crawl on hands and knees to drain bilge
From:Mark: Okeechobee, FL
Comments:I bought this because my original plug was hard to get to on the trailer. I have had it for the past six months and don't have any complaints. Works as advertised just put a little electrical grease on the o-ring once a month and it should last the life of the boat.
