worst walking bait ever madethis bait takes a lot of work for it to walk and when it does walk its not the best walking thing evet. when it spits its nice but that's it. doesn't come in many great colors.
The best walking bait i have usedThis is great, I was jokingly using it as a flip and pitch top water literally like a few feet in front of me and I caught a 3 pounder that made me almost drop my rod in the water, and another time I lost a massive stripper on it. Along with that, the hooks aren’t great, they bent out on a small striper and also the paint comes off easy but aside from that no paint, not this bait is good.

Comments: I upgraded my hooks to Berkley Fusion19 size 2's and this improved my hook ups, eliminated bent or broken stock size 4 hooks and even increased my casting distance with the slight extra weight. Tackle Warehouse also sells size 2 Fusion19 feathered trebles for the back hook. I like to throw it on 30 lb. braid with a long rod and a Lew's HyperSpeed LFS Reel. This bait is awesome for calling them up and it catches all sizes and species of bass.

Comments: This thing walks so easily and looks great doing it. The hooks on mine weren't super tough though, the middle hook broke one section off on the first smallmouth I caught.

Comments: This bait is phenomenal, I got the 125 size in maverick color because I hadn't seen a black walking bait before. The matte black paint has great detail, the fusion hooks are super sharp, it walks easier than any other bait I've tried and between the cupped mouth and the rattles makes a lot of commotion.

Comments: In my opinion, easiest bait to walk. Rattles are great, comes with Berkley Fusion trebles, great chugging mouth. This thing is ready to go out of the package. Caught a 4lb largie right next to the canoe. I have the Maverick color.

Comments: I have to say Berkley is putting out some great baits and at great prices. These other high end bait companies better wake up. Berkley is beating you into the ground. Great walking bait- good hooks- and price is unbeatable!! Way to go Berkley, and as always Tackle Warehouse has the best selection around!!

Comments: The Cane Walker is no joke. It's big enough to entice big bites and attractive enough the dinks will crash into something almost as big as they are. I've never had such instant gratification with a new lure. Having spent a morning in the sun with a choppy south wind, I don't think there could have been a better option. It's incredibly versatile and despite my early concerns, the size wasn't a factor at all even in water with 3-4 feet of visibility and some notoriously skittish bass on Skiatook Lake. The sexy back color was deadly, and I can't wait to break out bone white the next time I hit dirty water. For $8 each, I don't think there's a better bargain for a hard topwater bait on the market.

Comments: After watching Justin Lucas catch spotted bass on this, I had to try it. Was pretty good. Got bit and the action was good. The hooks were exceptionally great, if anything. Sticky sharp and held up after hundreds of casts and dozens of fish. There are so many big pencil poppers out there now, and I have not tried them all to really compare, but this one has a good price point.

Comments: I love this bait! Cast like atrial rocket and creates enough wake, bubble trail and noise to bring bass in from all directions. I've even caught nice Red Fish with them.
