Overview
A cut above other baits in terms of action and detail, the Berkley Flicker Shad Jointed Crankbait utilizes a jointed construction and high definition finishes to bolster attraction. Purposefully sized to capture the shape and profile of a shad, the Berkley Flicker Shad Jointed Crankbait features a two-piece construction that maximizes rattle and roll.
Individually tank tested and hand tuned to run true right out of the package, the Berkley Flicker Shad Jointed Crankbait slowly rises on the pause and dares big bass to strike. When they do, a pair of sticky-sharp Fusion19 treble hooks work to keep fish pinned in place until they reach the net. Unlike anything bass have ever seen, the Berkley Flicker Shad Jointed Crankbait combines highly detailed finishes with an erratic action that will undoubtedly put a bend in your rod.
Features:
-Lifelike high definition colors
-Size, profile and dive depth of a real shad
-Jointed construction for maximum rattle and roll action

Comments: Looks and fishes perfect, Berkley flicker shad lures came highly recommended by a fish and game article for an upcoming fishing trip I have planned.

Comments: The jointed crankbait has seemed to have almost disappeared, I am very pleased to know Berkley has the Flicker Shad. This is a fish catching machine, great around rocks or wood and has a great wobble during its retrieve.

Comments: This is very similar to the Rapala JSR (Jointed Shad Rap). The bill on the Berkley Flicker HD has a squarer profile than that of the Rapala and it seems to hunt and deflect of rocks more erratically than the Rapala. Both brands have proven to be good for river smallmouth and often produce when conditions are tough and both do a good job of bouncing off of bedrock without snagging. The hooks on the Berkley were sharper than I expected. The front and rear hooks fouled each other fairly regularly with the Berkley where as this doesn't seem to happen on the Rapala. The overall fit and finish of the Rapala seems better. I plan to keep both the Berkley and Rapala stocked as the lower cost of the Berkley and the way the squarer bill performs make it a good compliment to the Rapala. HD Yellow Perch and HD Smelt (and their Rapala equivalents) have been good colors for me.

Comments: Great crank bait when there's lots of bait fish around. The extra action of this bait triggers the bass into hitting it in them large balls of Shad.

Comments:This jointed crank looks amazing, I bought it because of the green color that mimics green sunfish that bass love eating in my area of KY. It's a better value than the jointed Rapala.

Comments: I love this crankbait. Good hardware, good action, good durability, and good price. I use it mostly for largemouth bass but I've had good walleyes hit it too. I just caught my PB, 19 inches 3 pounds 5 ounces on it four days ago. Dynamite bait when fished slow, fast, deep, shallow, everywhere. It can even deflect off of cover like a squarebill, 10/10.
