Overview

Following in the footsteps of the highly-effective Booyah Pad Crasher, the Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher provides a healthy topwater disturbance that works wonders in thick slop and windy conditions. The cupped mouth of the Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher moves a large amount of water, and also allows it to double as a popper/chugger in open water. Made from a thin, yet durable soft plastic, the Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher is incredibly collapsible and possesses a high strike-to-hookup ratio. A great option for bass that are hesitant to commit, the Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher will put bass in the boat when other frogs can’t.

Great FrogsThese things are great. I fish a lot of top water lures. Especially frogs. And, these are for sure my top producing frog. I only change them out when I need a heavier frog for whatever reason. Other than that, I have one tied on everytime I head out. The one I have on right now probably has about 30 fish on it. Still going strong. It is extremely beat up. Still floats, still catching fish. Wish I could post pics here to show the damage. These are definitely worth the $7.50. They will out perform their price point.

Best frog for beginners and prosBest frog for the price. It’s practically disposable for the price but the durability and the softness of the body are great but idk for sure about the hooks. It seems like they changed from the trokar frog hooks to some cheaper one. It still seems plenty sharp but I do miss the old hook. Either way you won’t find a better frog for the price. Popping version is my favorite

Great Frog, Great ColorsI only fish the Jr's, the size is perfect. Out on my best lake this past weekend; my #1 color got nothing (bullfrog), my #3 got nothing (night train). But when I tied on my new/untouched pumpkinseed color, the effect was immediate and lasting. They hammered it the rest of the afternoon, and by the time I left it looked 2-3 years old. Go figure, an orange/gold/green frog in the spring.

They changed the hooks and ruined this baitEver since they changed hooks and the material of the body, the mouths pull out when you set the hook and the frog sinks afterwards. Some of them sink right out of the box now. Used to be the best frog ever before they changed these things. Likely the business end of what's happening in the industry as we know has happened with Pradco brands... cheaper manufacturing cost, and more replacement sales since they break easily now. Booyah, please bring back the old hook and body from before your frogs sank and sucked!

Comments: By far the greatest frog I have ever used. I have caught many bass with them and not only bass but also GAR!!! These are the best.

From: Unknown: 5/29/21

Comments: Best frog i have ever used in my life I caught my pb of 6 pounds on this frog ps use the aqua frog color its amazing

From: Unknown - 10/13/20

Comments: These flat out catch EM on trashy, stormy, rainy days. Caught about a Seven on these just past month. Throw these in sticks, heavy cover, Slop, Pds. They just catch them. Recommendations for colors: -Kur, -Dart, -Smokey, -Shad' -Cricket and, most importantly if your south SUNBURNT!

From: Moe: Johnson 9/28/20

Comments: Absolutely the best frog I have ever thrown in my life. The frog is super easy to walk and maintain that same action. Not only that, but it flat out catches fish and is amazingly durable.

From: Connor - Rochester, NY 9/4/20

Comments: Seriously why buy anything else!! I went to the Todd Castledine School of setting the hook as hard as possible on a frog. When they just roll on it and don't eat it, I've had problems with tearing it around the eyelet. My solution was to fill the "popping cup" with Shoe Goo. The Shoe Goo reinforces the plastic so it won't tear. It doesn't affect the walking or popping action at all.

From: Frogman - Indiana 8/25/20

Comments: I can fish this on top of algae and pads. On pads they do tend to skip on top of the water when you jerk it but this is a popping frog so no problem there. I like to use this on a heavy rod and just twitch my rod tip straight down to really get it to spit water. Also, the calling action AND durability is amazing. On top of the algae, it still calls em in good and a snapping turtle even chewed this thing up and it still held up. I use anything black on sunny days and chart seems to work where I fish from on cloudy days. Not a boat fisherman too so the way this thing comes through cattails surprises me for being a popping frog.

From: Pong: Minnesota 6/13/20

Comments: One of my favorite frogs. The baits themselves are much softer than your average frog. My hook up is amazing compared to a spro frog.

From: Unknown: 5/11/20

Comments: By far my favorite brand of frogs on the market. Have been using them for years and have caught fish in the upper 7lb region. These frogs are durable, cheap, never get water in them, and are easy to fish. And by durable, I mean durable. I went out fishing and caught 2 small gators on one frog and it stayed strong and I caught some big fish after.

From: Unknown: 2/8/20

Comments: Hands down best frog on the market! I have used many different brands of hollow bodies and this one stands up to pig after pig. I've caught more trophy bass on the ol Smokey poppin frog than any other bait. I give it a 910 for durability. If you love to frog fish, these are a must!!

From: Timothy: Helton 3/13/19

Comments: These are go to frogs, the Booyah Popping Pad Crasher and the Original Pad Crasher! These baits are so soft and at 1/2 the price of other good frogs. I like these better than the KVD Sexy Frogs because of how easy they are to walk and how soft they are. Just bend the hooks out a hair and watch your hook-up ratio go up 30%

From: Grant J: Paris IL 7/3/18

Comments: Best frog out there for the price! Ole Smokey is my favorite color because it is clear with the black spots.  No matter the water clarity the sun shines through the lure and the spots define the outline of the frog so the fish can identify the lure easier.  Amazing color amazing lure!!!!!

From: TC: Rochester, NY 9/12/17

Comments: One of the best values in bass fishing. Very durable frogs, great popping action and also has the ability to be easily walked. I've caught my 3 biggest bass on the Swamp Frog, 4lb 5lb 6.5lb as well as dozens of others and this frog still works great. Never fills up with water,  hook up ratio is good, hooks remain sharp after dozens of bass. Just a great frog!!

From: David: Ohio 9/3/17

Comments: This frog is great, just caught two bass in the same day over 5 pounds in the Cricket Frog color. I haven't had to make any adjustments on it, works great out of the box.

From: MidWestPikeChasinMonsta: IL 6/6/17

Comments: my new favorite topwater bait. The first time i took the cricket frog color out, i got 15 bass, two 3 pounders, three 4 pounders, a 5 pounder, a  7 and the rest were dinks. Every time i used it for the next two weeks, i got atleast a 4 pounder until i lost it to a 3 pounder because of frayed leader line

From: Unknown - 5/11/17

Comments: Hands down the best frog I have ever tied onto my line. Once you first get your frog make sure to best each hook out about 1/4-1/2 of an inch out & your hookup ratio will skyrocket. Depending on how much cover your are fishing you might not want to bend them out too far considering you will get more snags and weeds on your hooks. Love the popping pad crasher & so far nothing has beat this frog.

From: Austin: La Crosse, WI 9/22/16

Comments: One of my go-to frogs in Old Smokey. If I want to keep a frog in a strike zone and attract attention, this frogs does that. A bit soft, but hookup ratio and price are right where they need to be. Weights also stay put for the most part when others like Snag proof get the lose their weights easily. If they tear, they usually tear in their cupped mouth which I have been repairing with Marine Goop to good effect.

From: Ian: Austin, TX 2/22/16

Comments: This frog in my opinion is the best frog on the market, it flat out catches lunkers! I have all the colors & kuro & albino are probably my favorites! Caught tons of 2 lb-4 lb fish on them, plus they are so cheap! Love everything about booyah from spinnerbaits, frogs, to crankbaits! Love em!

From: Sammuel: TX 1/10/16

Comments: This is an incredible frog. My biggest problem with other brands of frogs is casting them out, squeezing out the water, casting it out, squeezing out the wayer & repeat. I've thrown my black pad crusher a lot & have yet to squeeze any water out. Also, I thought it was impossible to walk a frog until I got this one. Super easy to walk. If you're wanting to start frog fishing, start with this one.

From: Jason: KS 12/22/15

Comments: Just as excellent as the booyah pad crusher, with the popping action in bonus. Easy to cast, to walk, don't sink, sharp hooks, soft body, effective color pattern &  still the friendly price point. Definetly a must have for the froggin addicts.

From: Ben: France 10/9/15

Comments: Hands down best frog on the market. I didn't think the pad crasher could be beat, but this popping version blows it out of the water. It is so easy to walk and walks through thick vegetation and pads pretty well, leading to vicious blowups. Dart frog and Bullfrog are my 2 go-to colors

From: Josh: GA 7/31/15

Comments: These are the best frog on the market. Big bass love frogs, you can walk it for no wind days, or pop it on windy days. Try these in the middle of the day, you will be surprised how bass will come EAT them! Any color will work. Hands down the best frog out there, and the price is great! Tackle Warehouse is also great to order from.

From: Johnnie: Lancaster, KY 3/18/15

Comments: The Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher is productive. The Cricket Frog color and Dark Frog colors have been the most successful for me. The frog has a softer body than most frogs by comparison and has a good hook up ratio.

From: Yakenstein: Hickory, NC 8/7/14

Comments: Hands down, best frog around. Much softer than the Spro and hooks up well. As soft as it is, it is still a very durable frog. I have hooked and landed several pike on one particular Poppin Pad Crasher and though it takes on more water, it still floats. I love these frogs!

From: Mark: WI 7/28/14

Comments: Awesome, plain and simple! I have fished frogs extensively this season and have tried nearly all of the top ones on the market. Hands down, the Pad Crasher and to even a greater extent this Poppin' Pad Crasher have out-fished all others. They have taken a beating and are still holding up extremely well. Hook-ups are great because they are the softest of any frogs I have tried. These Poppin' Pad Crashers walk with ease if needed, or can be popped violently when that's what the fix want. Extremely versatile and my go-to bait this summer. Load up on these!

From: Ryan: Minneapolis, MN

Comments: Same great frog action except you can chug and make a big splash on slop or walk the frog, The poppin version walks better than the original. With some practice you can walk the frog and chug with a result of some crazy action and BIG BASS!

From: ANGRY ANGLER: PLYMOUTH, MA

Comments: This frog is a game changer!!! Awsome action, really soft, durable, and cheap
