Comments: These paints work fairly well. They all coat differently however that is to be expected. Overall I would recommend these paints. As far as colors, as a practicing aquatic biologist, fish do see colors. They not only see the full spectrum of colors we do but also an entire UV spectrum as well that we can not. Fish do have red and green specific cones in their retinas which allow them to see and discern those colors from others better than others. This is why Wtm red is such a popular color. However, they tend to see black and blue similarly, as well as white and chartreuse similarly as the wavelengths of those colors are very similar underwater. All this to say, color does indeed matter.

Comments: This paint works great, just follow the directions. However Bass can really only see red as a color. Everything else are just shades of black - grey - white. Remember this when your beating yourself up over colors.

Comments: Watermelon Flake, when applied to much it just turns black on the newly made jig, it's a crap shoot on hit and miss. Use to your discretion!. It does look pretty when it comes out properly!
