Overview
The Cocoons Slim Line Sunglasses feature a slim, wrapping design built to securely and comfortably fit over your favorite prescription glasses. Cocoons eyewear ranks as one of the top selling over prescription sunglasses in the world today. The idea behind the Cocoons line is to protect your eyes and your prescription eyewear from wind, blowing sand and dust, rain and sun providing you with comfort so you can focus on what you're doing. The combination of brow bar, front and side shield lenses, and underside scoops provides you with much more protection from glare and harmful UV light reflecting off the water than conventional sunglasses.
The optically correct Polycarbonate Polar TX Lenses are scratch resistant, block harmful UV A and B light, and are polarized to allow your eyes to cut through glare to see more clearly and accurately, especially below the surface of the water. The flexible hypoallergenic nylon frames are so tough they are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and the temples can be easily contoured to create a secure, comfortable, custom fit. Every Cocoons eyewear comes with a zippered, protective Neoprene case and a Cocoons Duracloth cleaning cloth to keep your lenses clean and clear. Now you can have accurate, optically correct sunglasses, even if you wear prescription glasses, for a fraction of the cost of prescription sunglasses. The convenience of keeping your Cocoons on the boat at all times, ready for use, instead of being forgotten at home is more than worth the cost of the glasses.

Comments: I've owned my style line Cocoons for 7 years now. They were great for years. But they do eventually start getting loose and the sunglasses slip down on your nose rather than staying in place. I've had both arms taped on for over a year now and the arm finally snapped at the frame. But this is after 7 years of daily use. I'm buying another pair because it's much less expensive than paying for new pair of prescription Costas every time my vision changes. The arms are a very thin wire surrounded by molded rubber. The only plastic on the arms is near the frame. Then the rubber slips over that. That's the weak point. These won't be handed down to your grandkids. But at the price point, you can't beat them. I'll gladly spend $60 every 6 years. They do work great on the water as far as polarization. My review is just my experience.

Comments: Got a pair of these for my trip to Cedros Island this pasted Aug. Can't say enough about how well the fit & worked. ave now used them on 5 trips and every day just relaxing in the back yard. Way cheaper then paying for prescription sunglasses. A most when fishing on bright days. If your like me and you can't see well enough to tie your line, this is a great choice.
