Rip’n lips rib protection!!!If you like to set the hook with some heat on it, you’ll appreciate not having todays extra long rod butts trying to rearrange your rib cage or your gut! This product allows you a better hookset, especially if you like using larger lures like glide baits that use oversized hooks. You can bury the butt of the rod into your gut or side and use it like a fulcrum to get a more solid hookset. Honestly, I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t use one of these when fishing for trophy bass! Last but not least, it’s a cheap insurance policy if your rod happens to fall out of the boat.
