The Damiki Slim Jack is a shallow running jerkbait that will dive 8 to 16-inches in depth then slowly rise on the pause. A great bait for spooky post-spawn fish or highly pressured lakes, the Slim Jack has an excellent darting and wobbling action. Available in all of the winning Damiki’s colors, check out what FLW Angler of Year, Brian Thrift, has to say about the Damiki Slim Jack, as well as, other new baits from Damiki at the 2010 ICAST Show. Upgrade Your Treble Hooks!
Comments: Great bait, especially for really skinny water where it wont drive into the bottom like other jerk baits...I can put this jerk where I could previously only put an original floating rapala....but I can actually toss this one on a bait caster with a little heavier line. But I have to add this con.....the hooks must be changed out....they are quite literally, the worst hooks I have seen on ANY lure in the last 30 years....I mean, the hooks it comes with are completely useless.

Comments: Just came back from a fishing trip where i used this bait. I caught and Im not exaggerating 150 fish most where hammer handle pike but did get a couple 2-3lb bass. I fish in Michigan so using any hard bait in lakes with pike (which is all of them) you have to use a leader, you have no choice, you will get bit off. I used with the slim jack 12lb sunline sniper fluoro with 20 inches of 40lb sunline shock leader tied with a Albright knot. the bait kept its action darting everywhere. the hooks and split rings are trash and need changing before fishing. I used 2 owner 8 and number 2 split rings. I hammered them on the slim jack the bait is good to go. if you got issues with it, the problem is you.

Comments: Agree with zack. it's a super finesse jerkbait - stays just under the water when you can't get a top water commit bass . This jerk bait is just different - but In a good weird way - recommendation 8From: Dean: Vegas 4/14/20
Comments: I wasn't sure about this bait at first. It is more finesse than I expected. The action seemed a little lazy to me, but now I kinda treat it like it's just a hard fluke. As the water got cooler I caught several fish until I lost it. If you work it fairly quickly on fluorocarbon, it will go deeper than advertised. Anyway, I'm back to buy a couple more which tells you all you really need to know. From: Zack: West Virginia 12/21/19
Comments: Quality Bait. Good Colors. The bait is a high floater which is great for super shallow, very fast retrieves. Damiki uses the worst hooks. They are blunt out of the box, many cannot even be hand sharpened. Just plan on changing the hooks out before you get on the water.

Comments: Seems hard to find a jerkbait that stays right under the surface much less a decent sized one! Great for when they aren't sure about coming up for that topwater. You can just see the quality in this lure even the packaging is nice! Love it! Hard to fish wrong and would make a great addition to anyone's arsenal
