Retooled by the designer of the slide swimmer, Kazumasa Okumura, and renowned trophy hunter, Butch Brown, the Deps Slide Swimmer 175 delivers all of the big bass attraction as the original – now with slight modifications aimed at enhanced performance. Of these changes, the most notable is the clear ABS injected core, which works to improve durability and overall function. Internally, the Deps Slide Swimmer 175 features a spring weight at the front of the body that emits a faint knocking acoustic with faster retrieves and provides a subtle vibration on the pause. Along the outside, the Deps Slide Swimmer 175 is covered with a super-soft, removable silicon skin that allows access to the weighting system, so anglers can adjust the rate-of-fall depending on conditions. Implementation of durable figure eight rings at the line-tie and the joint give the Deps Slide Swimmer 175 a reinforced construction that stands up to abuse dolled out by large, record-setting bass. Offered in a range proven colors, the Deps Slide Swimmer 175 is the next chapter in the legend of the Slide Swimmer.

Comments: Great bait just change the hardware on bait to make it 100% better.

Comments: Okay bait just Not super impressed. Overpriced in my opinion only good thing is that it has a nice fluid glide. The hooks get skin hooked on the bait. And It tends to nose up

Comments: I have been throwing this bait for about four years now. Get ready for it...not impressed. I have fished it all kinds of different ways and dialed in the right gear, so there is no excuse there. I've caught a few smaller fish on it, but it isn't the first glide bait around this size I reach for. If you are looking for your first glide to try in this size range, I'd look elsewhere.

Comments: I dunno but the 175 is just a finesse glidebait to throw around and get bit much quicker than the 250. I love anything deps and this is just another one of those products that produces bites. Here in South Florida, the butch brown mirror trout gets bit far more often than expected. We sure do have trout eaters here. Although, IMO, for glidebaits I feel like colors aren't that important or why else would they bite the trout color one ya know?! I've changed hooks and split rings to give it a much quicker sink rate as it tends to sit higher in the water column when fished with my Antares DC MD but that isn't bad as it can be shallow here in South Florida. Buy one, you won't be disappointed!

Comments: Bought this bout 2 months ago. Had about a 6lb lmb follow me and flash it. Only fished it for bass once, but have gone brown trout with it and caught a 21in. It's a great bait quickly became my favorite glide bait.
From: Caiman: Oregon 11/4/21
Comments: Pretty good action Only problem is the hook somehow skin hooking itself occansionally
From: Unknown 8/3/18
Comments: First time trying this bait and omg the action is so fluid. Worth it to me. Caught a 2-3lb bass forth cast. Saw about 8-10 followers and some big mamas

Comments: I LOVE EM! i bought one last week. tested it out (water temps are 40 or so) bought another from the same guy 2 days later. my 2nd one caught my self a tiny bass bout 12 inches on a 7.5 inch bait. every time i see it swim I'm in a trance. i just love this thing! I may be buying 2 more as I'm typing this & i haven't even owned more first 2 for more then a week & a half! i think i have an addiction to buying baits. can anybody hook a brother up with FAA (fish-aholic awareness) meetings that would be great. PS. GET ONE! that waskagi is going to SLAY slobs when the herring are running!

Comments: SICK! Sure, helicopters like a Huey on the cast sometimes, but that'll happen when you are hurling a 3 oz hunk of plastic as far as you can. It WILL nose up, but if you are fishing it up top, that isn't a bad thing. To glide, just do a semi quick half turn of the reel, don't move the rod. You'll have to put in some time watching it swim to make it work. Get to know your equipment. When you are spending over 100 bones on a bait, why do I need to tell you this? Because some people don't get it.
From: Jay6: USA 12/9/15
Comments: Swims and suspends correctly, hooks catch on skin, spring weight is a good idea that doesn't do much, looks ok, doubt water flows through mouth & grooves, skin can move slightly from optimum position, durable, way overpriced.
From: Mic12: San Jose, CA 1/30/15
Comments: I have 4 of them and they are all very good. The bait swims great on a straight retrieve but when you try to glide it, the bait noses up. All are great bait.
