Please Note: Dirty Jigs is transitioning from a two-toned to a solid painted jig head finish. We will have mixed inventory until we sell through the tow-toned painted jigs and you may receive either paint scheme.
Designed by Bassmaster Classic Champion, Luke Clausen, the Dirty Jigs Luke Clausen Compact Pitchin’ Jig delivers tournament-grade performance that angler can count-on to pull big bass out of heavy cover. Built around a stout, 4/0 flat-eye Gamakatsu hook, the Dirty Jigs Luke Clausen Compact Pitchin’ Jig offers a smaller profile, which is perfect for slipping through tight spots in vegetation, underneath docks, and tree overhangs.
For increased performance around heavy cover, the Dirty Jigs Luke Clausen Compact Pitchin’ Jig is fitted with a fiber weedguard that decreases hang-ups, but is pliable enough to facilitate clean hook sets. Festooned with premium skirting for a lifelike pulsation, the Dirty Jigs Luke Clausen Compact Pitchin’ Jig offers a customized design from one of the best anglers on tour and unbeatable quality all-in-one bass-catching package.
Great JigI fish around a lot of spotted bass and these compact jigs get a lot bites. I feel they get more bites than the full profile yet still catch solid fish consistently. Hook is strong, weed guard is good, and the colors are great.

Best jig ever?!?This thing is as legit as it gets. The hook is sharp and stout. Not super heavy but plenty of strength to horse the fish out. The head shape is fantastic. It gets the job done pretty much anywhere and it works surprisingly well in grass. Best three colors are Go To, Matt’s mixup and black and blue. I like to pair them with a Netbait paca chunk. 3 inch size is perfect

Comments: Reinforcing another/other reviews: Fine jig. Good hook-up and low snag. Great colors (I favor Hematoma from Dirty and Nichols for it's color and subtle high-lights) But the paint chips off the head more than any other bass jig I've owned. AND this problem has been noted for years. By customers and reviewers, So many bass jigs are the same, for Dirty to have earned the acclaim it has, it should have tied skirts and heads that aren't the EASIEST chipping heads out of 5? 6? jig manufacturers I've used. And this jig was used pitching exclusively to wood, brush, spadderdock and reeds: not rocks or bottom dragging. The paint chips by contact with surfaces SOFTER than it. Do better.

Comments: Recently picked up a few of these jigs in 3/8 and 1/2. They are decent jigs but the paint does chip off fairly quickly. There was also a mix-up in the packaging, they put a 3/8 jig in a 1/2 labeled pack so I got 1 less 1/2 jig, TW hasn't been replying to e-mails about it and I don't want to go through the hassle of sending just 1 jig back for an exchange so I guess it is what it is. Big fan of their The Go To skirts or Hematoma

Comments: I love the color selection but unfortunately they apparently have changed skirt material on the Jigs I received lately and the new skirt material does not flare and lays totally limp when wet. In my opinion, it does not have the action of the previous skirt material which was stiffer and flared out. The new skirt material does not flare at all. Very disappointing.

Comments: I'm a huge fan of Dirty Jigs, but for some reason the paint seems to chip on these very easily. I own four of these and within a month of use the paint was half gone on three of them. I haven't had this issue with any other Dirty Jigs so maybe I just got a bad batch.

Comments: Great jig! Does just about everything well. Great colors to choose from. I just wish it was a tied skirt instead of a band.

Comments: Great compact jig especially in the North. Pair it up with the standard sized paca Chunk...It/'s the Juice..Game On!

Comments: One of my favorite all-around jigs. Great for northern fisheries or when you want to maximize your bites but still keep that full profile profile. A menace grub or smallie beaver are great trailers for it.

Comments: I own two of these. The paint chipped on both of them after one day of use. Disappointed.

Comments: This jig is perfect for those stubborn bass. Okeechobee 420 paired with a reaction innovations sweet beaver in tramp stamp can't be beat in my area. I highly recommend this product. It is a medium wire hook but has no problem holding onto big fish.

Comments: Great jig, very similar to an Ike's Mini Flip but way more color options available. I think dirty jigs has the best skirt lineup of any company, and they showcase it here. This is definitely not a super heavy cover jig, the hook is a medium wire, but when the bite is tough they definitely eat this little guy. Okechobee 420 and The Go To have been staples for me.

Comments: Good jig but could use a bigger hook but I have still connect with most of my bites same as with any other jig

Comments: awesome paint job and looks but the hookup ratio is just not there....had 4 bites in 2 hours and only landed one fish. one of the fish was easy five pounds and spit the jig when he jumped.....will be getting more of the regular pitching jigs soon

Comments: after fishing these jigs for about a month now i am thoroughly impressed. yes the jig is five bucks but the amazing color patterns and options, painted heads, perfect bait keeper that keeps that bait on always, and the perfect stoutness of the hook but not too stout makes them worth it. being a little more compact you get a few more bites but still draws bigger fish. i rate it a 9/10.
