One of the things that ensures success on the FLW Tour for Scott Canterbury is versatility. True to Scott’s persona, his signature Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Flippin’ Jig is no different. A true all-purpose design, the Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Flippin’ Jig excels at flipping, pitching, and swimming in any type of cover.
Paired with a new 30-degree Gamakatsu 3X strong heavy wire hook, the Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Flippin’ Jig is strong enough to get bass out of the cover and into your boat. Delivering quality throughout, the Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Flippin’ Jig comes in a slew of colors that feature a durable, color-matched 3-layer paint job and Dirty Jigs’ high-definition skirts that make it easy to match the forage anywhere that you wet a line. Flip, pitch, and swim? Check! Grass, rocks, and wood? Check! The only check left is the one that you will get after weigh-in.

Comments: Decent jigs to come through grass. They say it's got 3-layer paint on the jighead but that can't be true, the paint chips off fairly quickly and even brand new in the package a few of my jigheads already had paint chipped off.

Comments: Most of the lakes I fish have a lot of vegetation in them where the fish like to hang out. I've tried a few different jigs to get in and out of the thick stuff to get to them, but found myself frustrated with the amount of grass that would come up with my jigs. Saw these at my local tackle shop and decided to give them a try. I didn't catch a ton of fish the first few times using these, but what I liked about them most is their ability to come through grass without any getting hung up on it. The more I fished them and got used to jig fishing, these are about all I throw around grass. These have a good sharp hook, and the weed guard is stiff enough to keep fish pinned, but not too light to get hung up. Excellent jig in my opinion. They hold up well to some abuse. Colors are great, and the paint holds up really well.

Comments: I wrote a review on the No Jack Flipping Hook jig which easily compares to these. Only difference is a few variations of colors and a slightly smaller hook. I've tried numerous times to get these to hang by throwing in some of the nastiest cover and it still pops free. I have yet to lose a fish on these. Favorite color is Brown Craw which TW does not carry for some reason.

Comments: I've been using these jigs exclusively for about a year now. Let me tell you they are Strong, they have good skirts great colors and really really good hooks. Only down side is if you are like me flipping huge log jams and tree tops, the does chip but that's just a jig in general. I've probley caught easily over 100 fish on black and blue 1/2 ounce with a black and blue flake rage craw chunk, not throwing it exclusively 24/7 but I always have one tied on, I throw a frog etc. if you buy a couple of these jigs trust me it won't take long to fall in love with them I won't throw anything else PERIOD.

Comments: THIS JIG IS MONEY! Has a huge range a colors, nice beefy hook and a good hookup ratio. My favorite color is "The Go-To". I bite about a inch off a rage craw and use that as a trailer. Caught a lot of 5 and 6 pounders on this bait. Paint on the head aint that durable but I don't think that matters. Dirty jigs are the best jigs out there!

Comments: After a year of using this jig, all I can say is this thing is a work horse. I had one tied on at all times throughout the whole year. If you're looking for versatility, this is your jig. I flipped it around grass, wood, docks, seawalls, and pretty much anywhere else you could possible want to put a jig. It is also a killer weedline jig. If you want a jig for a heavy rod and big braid, I'd recommend the No-Jack, but if you want a jig for fluorocarbon or lighter braid, look no further. I've also swam this jig in between flipping areas and put extra fish in the boat that other people would miss. It has a super sharp hook that holds up, a great weedguard to keep it free of obstruction, and color selection is second to none. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Comments: This jig is bad to the bone, no question about it. 3 layers of paint, incredible colors, tough as nails hook & great head design. You can lay the smack down on big flippin bass. Definitely recommend

Comments: Very comparable to a Hack Attack. Very nice jig, great hook, incredible paint schemes that don't chip & a great color range. Would love to see them make a recessed line tie jig for flipping too. Maybe even a finesse flipping jig as well

Comments: Just got these jigs in the mail & man do they look great! They have a pretty stout hook & a heavy weed gauge but not very stiff, which is great. I like to cut the skirts to the bend of the hook to shorten the jig & give it a bulky profile & rigged with a smaller yum chunk pushed on to the hook & it gives it great action with still a stream line fall
From: Karson: Wheatland, CA 11/6/15
Comments: Excellent Jig! The most versatile jig I have ever used, the weed guard angle is perfect, its the right stiffness, the head comes through grass & wood very easy due to angle of line tie & the hook is the rightsize for weight of head.
