Overview
There are times when you have to lighten up a little, but that shouldn’t keep you from going “Hammer-bury” on the bass. The new Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Shakey Head is designed to help you do just that. This hybrid Arkie-style head has a 4/0 Gamakatsu hook and offers a 60-degree semi-recessed horizontal line tie that is made to keep the bait up for optimum presentations. There is no other shaky head available that fishes brush piles or skips docks as well as this one does. Tie a Dirty Jigs Scott Canterbury Shakey Head on - it’s hammer time!

best shakey head on the marketthis little dude is awesome!! I bought several 3/16 and 1/4 oz versions and let me tell you they are fantastic for skipping with the arkie style head. they do great around rock and brush. i fish most of my shakey heads on light casting gear MH fast action rod and 12-15lb test and the hook holds up very good on hook sets. (just adjust drag) have thrown all other shakey heads out of the boat.

Comments: These are quality heads that come through rock well and tend to get hung up a little less that some others. The hook point is incredibly sharp when new, anything that sharp will bend more easily so keep a check on it. Also these don't stand up as well as an ultra head, but depending on the worm you're using that doesn't matter. Overall good, and is one of my two favorites depending on bait I use and presentation wanted.. (owner is my favorite but I've actually broken a Hook off on a bass recently with them too, hoping it was just a Fluke)

Comments: My go to shakey head. Great quality and the head design does well in rocks and brush.

Comments: These are very high quality heads, they seem to do a good job at making sinking baits stand up a little longer. caught a few bass on these and held up very well.

Comments: I got a pack of these to try and I can say I like them. the head design seems to do well around rock and brush. The hook is sharp, just ask my finger. The screw lock was smaller than I expect and the eye was also small, so small I couldn't use a palamar knot with 15lb flouro and had to use an improved clinch. I also like the gama skip gap head since the hook is a little bigger and I can use the palamar knot. If they offered these with a 4/0 hook it would be perfect. 4/5

Comments: Was using the Owner shaky heads and decided to give these a shot. I definitely like the head shape on these better. My usual spot has a lot of scattered rocks and I had fewer hand ups with these. I feel the hook point is more durable on the Owners, but I will be sticking with these from now on.

Comments: The hook is a little light for larger baits. I wish the same style head was on a 4/0 hook.
