Please Note: Dirty Jigs is transitioning from a two-toned to a solid painted jig head finish. We will have mixed inventory until we sell through the tow-toned painted jigs and you may receive either paint scheme.
When fishing clear and deep water, the use of very realistic and detailed soft plastics has become the norm. Dirty Jigs now provides the same option in a jig with their Tour Level Finesse Football Jig. Premium powder coat finishes provide added realism and the skirts come full length, giving you the option to use the full skirt or trim the front to achieve a slim spider-cut profile. Also featuring a 60-degree flat line-eye Gamakatsu 4/0 Jig Hook, the Dirty Jigs Tour Level Finesse Football Jig is a proven performer available at a great price.
Great jigs - 4.5 starsThe skirts sticks together some, causing issues with flaring. You gotta go through with a exact-o knife and fix some of the strands. Also received a few where paint covered the tie hole, had to clean it out with a knife also. Other than that, these are my go-to jigs for flipping/pitching and skipping. Seems like their quality has dipped a tad bit over the years but it's nothing bad, truly. Still AMAZING jigs.

DisappointedThese used to be the best football jigs on the market. Not anymore! They changed the skirt material and the paint used for the heads. New skirts stick together and don't flair at all and the paint completely wares off the head within a few casts when fishing rock. I have purchased at least 100 of these jigs over the years. Won't be buying anymore!

Confidence baitI really like using this jig all year. Most my success is around rock and points. Occasionally I still throw it in cover instead of using another jig and it gets crushed regardless. Jig fishing can be tough at the beginning with confidence but the quality of fish and #s can be great when nothing else is working. Just throw it and stop leaning on finesse worms or other baits. Get confident with this jig and you'll never look back.

Comments: If my catches are any indication, this is the best football jig I've ever used. It might be the best jig I've used period. This is an all-year bait for me. Most crawdad or creature plastics make good trailers for it. In the summer I like to use a Yamamoto Cowboy for a lot more presence. I caught a 9 pounder on it last year, and caught a 30+ lb limit that day. Just the other day I caught a 7 fishing it the exact same way with a Netbait Paca Chunk Sr. This is another awesome trailer for this jig. It can be used anytime since when it moves slow it doesn't kick. It flaps like crazy on fast hops, and the fish can't stand it. If you need to size down, you could use a regular Paca chunk or a Yamamoto DT grub 5 inch. There's a whole range of great colors, so you can find something that will work for you. For me, molting craw 5/8 oz is the one I'm using 95% of the time. I trim the skirts to match up to trailers as needed. What really sets this jig apart for me is the hook and weedguard combination. This lighter wire hook is easy to set, and the weed guard moves out of the way pretty easily while still doing its job. You can use light line (I fish it on 12 lb) and don't need a super long rod to move line on a hook set. An issue with bigger jig hooks is that there is tendency to tear gashes that make it easy for fish to shake the hook. I almost never have this problem with the lighter wire hook on this jig. If you do really reef on big fish you hook and have your drag locked, you might bend one out. I did once, and tweaking my drag made it never happen again. For this jig, the whole package is working exactly as intended. A no brainer for anyone who loves fishing jigs.

Comments: If your not throwing this jig, you are missing out big time!!! This is my go to when im fishing hard bottoms. I mainly fish rivers with some go current flow. Depending on depth and current i will use 3/8 and 1/2. Shoal bass here in Georgia love these. Pair them with a strike king rage tail menance twin tail grub and hop that thing around rocks, might as well be a crawfish waiting to get smashed.

Comments: I've been throwing these for awhile and they have produced some great bass! Just today I went to a local lake and threw the 1/2 oz in Super Matt Brown with a Yamomoto Double Tail Grub to match. In less than two hours I had 3 fish over 5 pounds and several more between 2 and 4 pounds. AWESOME, AWESOME JIGS! Hands down the best I've ever used!

Comments: This jig looked the best of any of the other football heads on the marked so i decided to give the blackened blue and ganzilla colors a try. on the first day, i caught a 11 lb, 12 lb, and an 8 lber and missed another 10 lber. Add over 20 fish from 1 to 5 lbs that first day and ive been hooked since. very durable, and try strike king elaztec chunk trailers for great action. i use blue sapphire, see what works with the color jig you choose.
