Overview
Small in size, but big on action, the Duo Realis Shinmushi Cicada Bug delivers a strong-wobbling topwater presentation that calls to bug-hungry bass. Fitted with a set of soft rubber wings, the Duo Realis Shinmushi Cicada Bug catches the water as it swims, creating a steady oscillation followed by a healthy wake. Additionally, the wings act as a breaking system, allowing anglers to pause the bait with minimal forward movement.
Constructed using a hard body with flowing silicone appendages, the Duo Realis Shinmushi Cicada Bug features a detachable back, which enables anglers to adjust or replace the skirting material for a customized look. Highly detailed from end-to-end, the Duo Realis Shinmushi Cicada Bug is covered with a premium finish, molded accents, realistic eyes, and a feathered treble for added attraction. Comments: I absolutely love this thing. It gets hit by everything, including bass. When you see dragonflies on your body of water start throwing this thing and you'll get bit.

Comments: Definitely a fun lure to toss. Bass, bluegills, perch, trout, and even small birds will take a crack at it. A must have for skinny waters and ponds and that's not to say it won't get smashed on big bodies of water either.

Comments: Have two of these one in black and one in white though don't remember where I bought them since white is not listed. I have caught multiple 2#s on these. Anyone who says this is to light to cast obviously hasn"t done any research on this bait. A quick youtube search pulls up the JMD market using this bait and it is used on spinning gear not baitcaster. Now the newer and bigger version can be used on baitcaster. Also people who say it has no durability seem to know that there is a screw lock yet don't check it after hooking into a fish so also you can add some locktight if need be. I'm excited to get my hands on the newer 3" version though maybe wait till it"s on sale $21.99 is kind of insane.

Comments: Just picked one up a week ago. I had a lot of high hopes for this lure. Unfortunately, it has a lot of flaws. It is super light and doesnt cast well at all. The hooks are so tiny that all the blowups I was able to get did not connect. It seems to be made with really cheap components. I also own a pompadour Jr. Get that instead.

Comments: Lasted for only four fish. Looks cool and works but zero durability. The screw that holds the hook also holds the bait together, it ripped out on a 10" fish. Unfortunately won't be buying anymore.

Comments: This thing is a killer on the farm ponds! Never caught anything over 2lbs on it but it definitely works. Unfortunately mine broke, but it caught 40+ bass & was covered in teeth marks before the small screw holding it together broke out. Could definitely be cheaper or at least built a touch better for the price but all & all a great fun lure. 8/10

Comments: This is a very realistic bait, but forget the big bass. The hooks that come with it are very small & do not hold anything much larger than 1lber. After playing with small bass, I put a single larger hook on, but then the bait sank. If you want to play with small bass & perch, this bait is for you, but if you want big bass, look elsewhere.

Comments: Nice lure. Caught lots of small bass with it. Lure is smaller than it looks on picture. Lure broke after 2 days of fishing. The flaw of this lure is that the screw that hold this lure together is the same screw that hold the front hook; the screw's thread is not strong enough to withstand the thrashing of the bass when it is out of the water. Front screw that hold the hook broke off after the 9th bass caught. I would recommended you remove the front hook, replace the back hook with a size 4 hook with feather of your choice. Overall, 7/10. Still the sexiest cicada lure out there for the price.
