Comments: The 60 degree bend at the eye makes room for the body of the bait to get out of the way when a fish bites down........this can make all the difference when using fat baits. Out of the package, the point is aimed well below the eye the hook It's a geometry thing and I do open the throat a bit......personal preference.....I like the hook point aimed on a line ABOVE the eye. Regardless of doing the mod, that 60 degree angle at the eye is perfect.

Comments: Do purchase these!! That is if you like catching fish using a variety of baits. I use the 3/16 oz. 3/0 size most often. Having the 60 deg. bend it pairs up nicely with: Reaction Innovations Little Dipper swim baits, Strike king Rage Craw, and Yum Money Craw to name only a few. I have used many packs over the years and have never had a quality issue with the hook itself or the point rolling over. On occasion the weight will come loose but can easily be secured again with a drop of superglue. This hook is strong, sharp and effective.

Comments: do not purchase these!!! terrible and super flimsy hook, the tri tip will fold after a few fish and also the weight will get unglued and slide up and down the shank of the hook, i would recommend the VMC Heavy duty swimbait hook instead.

Comments: Love the shape of the hook and the weight is in the perfect place..... one problem is hook is a little flemzy and the second problem is if your catching north pike the tip folds over (no more sharp point).

Comments: Amazing hooks! Bought a pack to try out and with first use, caught me good size bass. Hook sets are great! Great sharp hooks and the screw on for my soft plastic swimbaits are great. Just an all around great sharp hook that every angler needs for swimbaits. Only problem is, I should have bought more!
