Disappointed with these pliersI got these pliers expecting the most because well they looked great felt great. Started using them and about 2 weeks in I could tell the line cutters were getting dull. I looked past it because they still cut and about a week later went kayak fishing and they came apart from common use nothing that should have broke them don't know if I got a bad set but that's my experience

Comments: Although the pair I received looks different from the one pictured, as it has slightly different jaws, no divots in the handle & a lobster clasp instead of a carabineer clip, I'm sure they're practically identical as I've seen the same ones branded Lew's & other brands. The are lightweight & well made. The hex screws holding the jaws on are slightly stripped, but I wouldn't want to have to try to unscrew those, anyway. They are perfect for bending most bass hooks back into shape, removing hooks & cutting any line. The case is great quality and keeps them handy so you can get your bait tied on or fish unhooked & quickly get back to fishing without missing a beat. Well worth the money for any bass fishing enthusiast.

Comments: I've had these for a few years now and they work great. The cutter is still able to cut braid, not as cleanly as when new but still good. Not the most sturdy plier (bent mine trying to loosen a nut off a mower) but if your using it to remove a hook from a fish's mouth or bending hooks they should last forever. Also they have not rusted at all.
