Overview
Designed for fishing around brush and vegetation, the Flatlands Custom Tackle Weedless Ned Heads allow anglers to fish a Ned rig through heavy cover, unlike traditional Ned heads with an exposed hook. Featuring a 1/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook that can be rigged Texas style for a perfectly weedless presentation, the Flatlands Custom Tackle Weedless Ned Heads are also molded with a mushroom style head that keeps your bait pointed straight up on the bottom, which bass find irresistible. Add a new dimension to your finesse fishing arsenal and get your Ned rig into places where other anglers cannot with the Flatlands Custom Tackle Weedless Ned Heads.

Comments: Wouldn't recommend. The hooks are incredibly fragile and super low in quality, had 4 of them either bend out or completely break off with minimal effort on light spinning gear.

Comments: These hooks are good. They are meant for finesse, using light line, meaning you have to have your drag set right and not use too big of line. The only problem with them is the hook is too large for a Z-man TRD. I prefer the #1 size hook on the Z-man Ewg Nedlockz. It fits a TRD perfectly, but these can be used for so many other bigger baits. I like them on a Roboworm, sorta like a shakey head.

Comments: I will not be ordering these again the wire breaks with little effort. I wanted to love them so bad but every single one I had broke the hook at the bend. I love the way they look and fish but needs serious wire upgrades. The first one I broke was unhooking a fish I pushed on the jig head and it snapped at the bend, had most hooks break on snags and only one on a fish.

Comments: Garbage. The hooks are dimensionally inconsistent (wildly varying lengths of the shank behind the head) and brittle. One of my 1/8 oz heads has a shank so short (less than 1/8") it's unusable. Don't waste your money on this trash. I wish I could get mine back.

Comments:The concept is spot on! However, it's unfortunate how weak these are. I run them on 8-10lb mono on a spinning set up and have broke 20+ of these hooks. Not breaking line, the actual hook shank.. It kills me because they do catch fish but as a tournament angler I need to have 100% faith in tackle and with these, I do not.

Comments:I can not believe how good these heads are! The sharpest hooks made, great paint jobs, tons of options, love the design, these are the original.

Comments:I ordered a few of these, because the Lifted Jigs Ned EWG was out of stock. I figured they're exactly the same, so instead of waiting for them to come back in stock I decided to try these. I won't buy these again. I took these out to fish some urban ponds (Utah doesn't have great bass fisheries like some other states), and I hooked up with a 1.5lb maybe 2lb Bass. Nothing impressive but the hook bent and I lost it. I thought it was a fluke so I kept throwing them, and ended up snagging another. The hook completely snapped off (I'm using 12lb test) and I was shocked to say the least. The head was kept in tack, but the hook sheared clean off. The rest will just sit in my tackle box now. Won't be buying again and I can not recommend them. I'll either wait for the Lifted Jigs to come back in stock or try the new Owner.

Comments:This is a great head! I have landed multiple 5lb + Smallies using 10lb Sunline braid and a 8lb floro leader. The only time I have bent a hook is taking it out of a fish because they are pinned so well! I have yet to lose a fish on it. Keep them coming Joe

Comments:I wanted to love this thing, and as far as presentation I did. However, the first time using it I got snagged in a shrub beside the pond. I tried dislodging it with a couple jerks on the rod, and my line broke (or so I thought). After bushwacking to retrieve it, I found that my line hadn't broken but rather the line tie had broken off the head. Add to that the wimpy wire hook, and I won't be purchasing these again.

Comments:These are cool little weedless heads. Awesome concept! Unfortunately, I am disappointed. I wanted to love them soooooo bad. I bought the 1/8oz size. They catch fish, yes. But, the hooks bend out if your hookset is moderately hard. Truth be told, I do not EVER get cheated on setting the hook! Today, I set the hook at about 75% strength and had no problem landing a 1-lb fish only to find the hook bent out about 15 degrees. I was using braid, so your results may vary if you use line with some stretch.

Comments:Ordered a pack of these few weeks ago for the Zman crawz. I normally use the 1/15 oz zman head, but looking at different heads to fish it weedless. WOW! They work very well if you Tex pose. I even rigged one up and tested it in large kitchen bowl. Stood up perfectly. The large EWG hook didn't weigh it down at all. Caught a nice 3.8 Spot yesterday. Dragged super slow on bottom, then when you stop, bait stands straight up. Couldn't ask for anything better. I normally use 6lb line when Ned fishing, but I may consider using 8lb when using this head since you do need ot set the hook a little.:)

Comments:Great little hooks. Light wire, sticky sharp hook. I don't have nearly the shake offs with this as the regular Ned hooks and the added benefit of being able to Tex-pose it seals the deal.
