Designed by BASS Elite Series pro, Aaron Martens, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens G-Finesse Heavy Cover Hook offers anglers a light wire hook that still maintains superb strength. Perfect for lighter flipping when you need to downsize your offering, the smaller diameter of the light wire also provide faster hook penetration, which is ideal if you also have to downsize your line.
Made from Tournament Grade Wire, which is 20% smaller but still retains the same strength as regular steel wire, it is also equipped with Gamakatsu’s Nano Smooth Coat finish that provides a slick coating for even faster hook penetration and a stealthier presentation as well. A great choice for sparse cover and scattered grass when a heavy gauge hook and braided line are costing you bites, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens G-Finesse Heavy Cover Hook is a necessity for versatile anglers.
Comments: Love these hooks. Crazy sharp and really stout. My only complaint is that they don't sell bulk packs.

Comments: RIP to the big homie Aaron. I only use these hooks when I am pitching...why complicate it by having a bunch of different brand hooks? I firmly believe Aaron was an alien sent down from a bass-filled planet and he did not pass away...he simply went "home". I'll keep honoring my dude by slaying fish with these hooks. Try some!

Comments: It can be hard to find that perfect hook that has a good keeper in the right place, the right diameter wire, a decent gap and sharp point. IMO this has everyone of those. Its a G finesse so it has that matte grey color which Im not crazy about but the I think that's the nano coat. If you haven't used any of the g finesse hooks let be the first one to tell you they're stupid sharp. This hook isn't a thin wire but its not a thick wire either, but its much stronger than it looks. The gap on these hooks are wider then usual. These hooks are also sized differently, there much bigger then the standard gama hooks. The 2/0 is close to what a 4/0 round bend offset would be. My only complaint with hook and all of the other g finesse hooks is that the metal is extremely hard and once you roll a point its not easy to draw it back out. They aren't cheap at all but if you want a sharp lightweight hook its very hard to beat these.

Comments: Great hookup ratio, super sharp and keeper works well. Only downside is the price. But I will continue to buy them.

Comments: I'm a Roboworm fan and use the Roboworm bronze hooks when I'm using 6 & 7" worms. But I picked up some of these to check out, and they performed greatly. Still lightweight, and the holder is right in the correct spot. It holds without destroying your plastics like Talons tend to due. I use them for more than worms. Structure Bugs and Pit Bosses to name a few. From: James: Ferryville 9/9/19
Comments: These hooks are really amazing!! it does penetrate better, super thin, super stiff. Next level in hooks. I normally use VMC but in a comp I throw these

Comments: These hooks are really starting to grow on me. First off, they are stupid sharp, and penetrate quickly. The keeper on the hook does a better job of keeping baits up there than the standard Gamakatsu wire keeper (think more Mustad DB hook). The keeper also stays out of the way and doesn't pick up grass. Yes, they are a lighter wire, but they're still as stout as a standard flippin hook. I've been boat flipping 3-4 lb bass with this hook with no problem. These work especially well with smaller baits like baby D-Bombs, Z-Craw Jr., and Baby Menace Grubs. No, you can't punch with these, but that's not what they're designed for. They're designed for lighter situations like docks, rocks, and sparse grass.
