Tested and developed by the 2013 BASS Elite Series Angler Of the Year, Aaron Martens, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens TGW Finesse Treble Hook MH delivers a slightly meatier construction than the original, without compromising anything in performance. Perfect for pairing with square bills, topwaters, and jerkbaits, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens TGW Finesse Treble Hook MH is constructed with a Medium Heavy (MH) wire that bolsters strength.Delivering unsurpassed hook penetration, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens TGW Finesse Treble Hook MH features a slick Nano-Coat finish and a downsized barb, which allows the hook to slice through lips with ease. Once fish are hooked, the O’Shaughnessy bend ensures that fish stay pinned-on until they hit the net. Whether you’re replacing old hooks or simply upgrading, the Gamakatsu Aaron Martens TGW Finesse Treble Hook MH delivers the tackiness, strength, and dependability that will make them a staple in your tacklebox.
Comments: These hooks will break on you. I have broken them trying to pull them out of clothes. I have also broken them on multiple fish. Love how sharp they are and how small they are but they are simply not strong enough to get fish to the boat.

Comments: I purchased these new MH G-Finesse hooks in #5's to upgrade the stock hooks on some of my various JB's. Since it's supposedly a heavier wire than the normal G-Finesse hooks, which I liked the idea of, but I didn't know which size to purchase, or if they'd negatively change the action, and make them sink. The hooks seem to be a shorter shank or just run a size smaller than normal (Compared to Jackal Rerange stock #6 normal shank hooks) the Gammy's we're about the same size. I also thought they would look like the color in the picture on tackle warehouse, a light grey. They are not the light grey color as shown in the picture. They actually look exactly like the regular G-finesse hooks, which are a darker charcoal grey. Thought I'd let everyone know that, if they're expecting a different color. As for sharpness, I don't think you can find anything close! Now the baits I changed hooks out on, were the strike king KVD deep divers. MB 110+1 and Jackal Rerange. On the KVD JB's, the stock split rings are only #1, but the stock hooks are a huge #4 short shank. Before I changed out hardware, I decided to place each brand of jerk baits in a 5-6" deep bowl of cold water to check how they reacted with stock gear, and matched that when changing out to my new hardware. The KVD's act exactly like MB 110's did. Lip down touching the bottom of the bowl, with the tail just barely above the surface of the water. When I changed the hooks to the Gama #5's it required me changing the split rings to all spro #3's. I tried #2 split rings first but the lip came off the bottom and the tail was high out of the water. Then on the MB 110 +1 which has black #2 stock split rings. I upgraded to spro #2 split rings and the gama #5's and they were a perfect match, same action in the water. Now the Jackal Rerange with a normal bill, when put in the water with stock #3 split rings and stock #6 normal shank hooks, it wants to sink slowly to the bottom of the bowl and then slowly rise back to the surface, with its back completely level out of water. I upgraded to spro #3 split rings and the gamma MH #5's and all was the same. So I think these MH's G-Finesse hooks are the way to go, instead of the lighter wire version, you can just play around with split rings to get the stock action, rate of fall or suspension that you want.

Comments: I've found that these trebles are the perfect hooks (in size 6) to replace the stock hooks on the Vision 110 series. Also, they are incredibly sharp because I inadvertently poked my finger when I was swapping out hooks. Strong and can't be bent by my fingers alone, unlike other treble hooks.

Comments: I have used this hook to switch out the back treble on my 1.5 baits during a tournament. It has made a huge difference in my landing ratio. Money well spent.

Comments: really really sharp hooks! only downside is iv bent two hooks already on topwater hooksets. so it does mean finesse for a reason.
From: Spencer - Mississippi 4/23/18
Comments: Awesome piercing ability, with the strength to handle big fish. Reel these hooks into the fish without using a hook set. If the rod detects a bite, the fish is on! Best money spent for the sharpest hooks available. Upgrade your replacement hooks today!
