Overview
As it sputters across the surface, the legendary Heddon Torpedo creates a massive disturbance that has helped to build its reputation for drawing explosive surface strikes. Deadly at any rate of retrieval, the Heddon Torpedo is best utilized through varying your speed and cadence until you key in on a pattern that’s the most effective. The aerodynamic shape allows anglers to perform long distance casts with ease and precision. Offered in a number of time-tested colors, the Heddon Torpedo is a classic topwater lure that’s sure to “propel” you into the winner’s circle.

Comments: I need to buy another Teeny Torpedo (1/8 oz) to see if mine is just defective, but the Teeny Torpedo I have in Bullfrog sinks. The Tiny Torpedo (1/4 oz.) I have is my favorite topwater presentation of all time. The prop is not as sturdy as the Baby Torpedo (3/8 oz.), but the semi-finesse presentation just works. I used to go to a creek in Minnesota to practice casting with new lures or new rods/reels, and I had to stop throwing this one for practice casts because I was often bit. It's a fantastic lure for both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, but be warned that you may lose some to Pike or Musky depending on your location. They draw bites from them as well. All-time favorite model is Tiny Torpedo in G-Finish Pearl/Red Head

Comments: Just started using these baits. Took them up to Northern Wisconsin this past week. 1st cast a Smallie hit it as soon as it hit the water. 3rd cast it just past some lily. Got a 3 lb. largemouth wow, I'm sold!

Comments: This is my all time favorite bait! I love the top water bite. My favorite pattern is the frog pattern and I don't see it on here anymore, luckily I stocked up on it for the last two years picking it up whenever I saw it. I have the clear, baby bass, g- shine and my very first one is the old school red front with white on the back half. None have worked as well as the frog pattern for me. I hope this is a temporary thing .

Comments: This is an old school gem. I have about 4 of these propbaits. They have accounted for quite a few kicker fish through the years in tournaments. Hard to beat Heddon in the top water category.

Comments: Love the blue shiner color. I'm on my 3rd one because they just get so many hits and catch so many fish. Lost the other two because of either line breaking off or other non-lure related issues. Makes a good little buzzing noise. The fish often hit them within a foot of starting the retrieve. Have caught LMB, pickerel, pike, trout, and even some overly ambitious sunnies on this guy.

Comments: Throw lures other people aren't. Not many people still throw these. Make sure and upgrade your hooks U also add a feathered treble on the back(make sure it's not a short shank). You actually can walk this bait. It's a very tight walk but it does walk usually in a 123 pause cadence. Also works good in long violent jerks. Bass usually crush them on the pause. Old school !

Comments: I have been using this lure for 20 years. Definitely the best topwater for any fishing. I shoot for a very subtle presentation the big smallmouth love the long pauses.

Comments: Amazing top water bait first 3 casts and caught 2 fish right away then moved down the lake a bit and in 10 feet of water right out by a dock a nice 16inch smallie killed it with in 20 minutes of having the bait. On 12lbs Pline casts a mile. Will be getting more

Comments: First time using one of these at a local pond and saw that the treble hook in the back broke off completely the part that holds the whole treble hook and ring came off after something hit it like a frieght train. Make em more durable please.

Comments: I have used these lures all throughout my life. They are the best topwater lures you can get your hands on! I've caught LM bass, gar, and ever smallmouth on these things! The fish can not get enough of these things, you can either slow retrieve, or try popping them, but these are not a walk-the-dog bait. Both baby and tiny are good sizes and can't go wrong with either, the baby does have an issue with the propeller getting caught on the treble hooks. The only thre colors I have used are Baby Bass, black shiner, and g fleck blue shore minnow, but if you just want to buy one, get the baby bass, you cant go wrong there.

Comments: Excellent pond bait especially in the smaller sizes. Very good finesse topwater as well. Have caught some big smallmouth with the clear version. Great little bait
