Overview
Crafted with incredible attention-to-detail like all Imakatsu lures, the Imakatsu Boota Frog is the result of innovative Japanese engineering and thorough field testing. One of the most versatile frogs on the market, it not only walks-the-dog with ease, it also delivers a subtle popping action. Featuring a double-keeled design, which is responsible for the Boota Frog’s effortless walk-the-dog action. The dual keel design also allows it to turn more than 180-degrees to maximize its time in the strike zone and keeps the Boota Frog balanced as it comes across mats and other types of cover, keeping it flat and eliminating the possibility of it rolling onto its side.
Built around a razor sharp Teflon coated double hook with reversed barbs to provide superior hook-ups and fish retention, the Boota Frog also features a molded balancing weight with an integrated hanger that allows you to incorporate rattles or blades to your presentation. Available in a range of highly realistic colors, the Imakatsu Boota Frog is the only frog you need in your boat.

Comments: Great walking little frog. But for me to little and wish they put more strands in the tail. But as far as the small frogs i have tired this one is numero uno. I just need to gain some confidence in it. I enjoy throwing big frogs way to much. But its in my top 5. But more because there is a bunch of junk out there. But i will ordering at least two more. There will be a day.

Comments: I am a HUGE fan of JDM tackle and this was a bait that I of course had to get. Pros- walks really well and the colors the have are money. Cons- the weight on the frog fell out when I set the hook on the fish, and the right hook bent out. Disappointed, but could have been because of how close the fish bit. I will try this frog again, because it gets bit and is the best walking frog in its size category.

Comments: I wanted to try some different frogs than the standard brands. I was amazed at how easy this frog was to walk, i thought it was the perfect amount of side to side with a little bit of spitting action. I was on a river backwater area and had some great blow ups however the water was murky and my brother was doing a little better with a big white popping frog so i switched, i will use it more especially when the water is a little more clear and i think the fish are more pressured and may require a more tempting finesse retrieve than where i was.
