Comments: Amazing caught many fish spots largies and couple of smallies pair white a dirty jigs goby head or 6th sense underspin you have a fish catching dude.
From: Jared: 9/18/23
Comments: They are worth it and will outfish other swimbaits. Idk why, but they do, and I have tried many others. Buy some mend it and stick them back together with it. It saves me money and the ones that were mended back together work just as good even though they smell strong like the mend it stuff. The 2.8 and 3.3 pair up great on matt allan guppy head. And that keeper on that head allows me to catch sometimes like 10 fish on one bait, which is really good for these ones. a dab of super glue on the keeper is a must as well.
From: Lee: 4/16/23
Comments: Absolutely incredible little bait. I've caught hundreds of bass and crappie on them.
From: Jason: Royse City TX 4/14/23
Comments: To JT from CA, who mentioned having problems with the baits not staying up on the hooks. Try some of those silicone grippers, like the Decoy silicone bait gripper. Those have virtually eliminated that problem for me... plus they've got several other uses too, like for protecting knots or use as a skirt band.
From: Brian: TN 2/9/23
Comments: These swimbaits work ok but they will not stay up on most jig heads .The oils they are soaked in combined with the super soft plastic make them slide down while casting and tear up before you even get a bite ,plus you can not super glue them on to make them last either because of all the oil on them ..You are lucky to get one fish per bait ! At one dollar each I will not be buying anymore .
From: J.T.: CAL 1/10/23
Comments: Fished 2 day tournament at Lake Kissimmee last weekend and we caught all our fish on the Keitech. I was throwing the 3.8 on an owner flashy swimmer with 3/0 hook 3/16 weight with the Electric Blue Chartruese and every fish we caught that weekend was on that bait. We only had one pack of that color so we drove out that night to try and find some more. Amazing bait but like everyone else has said they are very fragile baits and lucky to get 2 fish out of them and yes they are expensive but they do the job.
From: Shane: BROOKSVILLE, FL 10/20/22
Comments: I'm a finesse guy. So I use the 3.3 as my go-to for swim jig and chatterbait trailers. I use the 3.8 as a standalone swimbait although I know you can go much larger. An overall awesome bait! It is the original, not an imitator. The dual injection plastic allows for a different salt content on the bottom versus the top actually creating ballast in the bait. Trust me, the attention to detail is well worth the price! No one else is pouring them like this.
From: Cerebral Tackle : 10/11/22
Comments: These are excellent squarebill crankbaits. I've been using them for several years. One time @ a local creek I caught a 5 pounder on the first cast & she was right by the wall & she nailed it!! Don't usually catch alot on these, but generally they will produce. My favorite color is Stumpknocker. Real similar to a bluegill or bream. They are durable & do put out a rattle alot like the original Rat-L-Trap. Highly recommend!!! John 3:16-17, Galatians 2:20..........Christ returns soon & very soon........these are the End Times now..........
From: Timothy: Dallas, TX 7/23/22
Comments: If you like catching fish, buy these. You can't rig them wrong. They are fragile, but they work, and they're extremely versatile.
From: Jason: New Jersey 6/13/22
Comments: I shouldn't be telling you this, but I will. If you like to use the 2.8 size pick up some Zappu Bredy weedless underspins. The size #2 fits a 2.8 perfectly. I searched for a LONG time to find a weedless option with a small enough hook. The 1/0 Owner Flashy Swimmer is too big for a 2.8, but not the Zappu Bredy. It also fits a 3in Hazedong Shad a Spark Shad. When the bite is tough pick up a 2.8 and Zappu Bredy weeedless underspin!
From: Chris: Cincinnati Ohio 4/24/22
Comments: This swimbait has quickly become my go to and I always have it tied on. I primarily fish from the bank on a neighborhood lake with little to no structure or cover. I usually rig this on an underspin and slow roll it along the bottom with the occasional pause and the bass crush it during the change in speeds. Sure the durability is not the greatest, but they make up for that with their action. Would highly recommend to anyone still on the fence about trying them out!
From: Brad: Unknown 10/11/21
Comments: Excellent bait. Caught a 4lb PB last weekend and a few other 1-2lb bass on the 3.8 fat impact paired up with a 3/0 weedless VMC underspin. Great combo.
From: Jamie: New Jersey 8/30/21
Comments: Loves these swim baits. They're great for single baits or the A-rigs!
From: Unkown: 8/29/21
Comments: If you're a bank fisherman, and you need a weed less option, then go with the Owner Flashy Swimmer for a hook. The 1/0 fits the 3.3 perfectly. The 3/0 fits the 3.8 perfectly. I use the 4/0 weighted Owner Beast hook for the 4.8. These Keitech's are not very durable, but you pay to play. They have superb action because they are softer. You can buy larger Owner CPS springs that will give your bait a longer life. I learned that from Tactical Bassin. My favorite color's are Sun Gill, Pro Blue Red Pearl, and Smallmouth Magic, but really I've caught fish on almost all the colors. If you want Pro Blue red Pearl, but they don't have it try the Threadfin Shad. It's somewhat close to the same color, but it has some flake
From: Chris: Cincinnati, OH 8/9/21
Comments: GO BIG! try the 6.8" with an Owner 8/0 beast hook. I've caught 2 lbers, up to 6.5 lbers. The wide kick draws lots of strikes. Using the beast hook I am able to catch about 6-7 fish on one bait usually. Sometimes a certain strike might damage the bait, and I'll get 4-5 fish, but over all durability is great.
From: Unknow: 4/12/21
Comments: They sell a gazillion packs of these for a reason...they slay. Very versatile. Pick a size and a color and go to town. You can fish it weightless and clean up...who needs a horny toad? Texas rig it and fish it like a worm. Get creative. Go fish. From: Swayze: Minnesota 2/3/21
Comments: These swimbaits excel year round for smallmouth in the south. These just flat out get bit. The 2.8 is generally my go-to any time of year. From: Austin: Tennessee 1/5/21
Comments: These are by far my favorite swimbaits I love the action and how soft they are I started using keitech swim baits three years ago and now I hardly use any other swimbaits. From: Brody M: Delco 12/21/20
Comments: I first starting fishing Swing Impact Fats a few years ago. Haven't slowed down one bit, every lake or pond I will always have them readily available with me. I started with the smaller sizes like the 3.8 size and now have worked my way up from there. My go to is 4.8 inch in any type of shad looking color. This past spring, I got to go to a hot water discharge lake where some of the bass were eating 10+ inch gizzard shad. From: Corbin: Indiana 12/19/20
Comments: I have fished many swimbaits. Keitech for me seems to make the fish hold on for a little bit longer. The swimming action along with the softness of the bait make a great swim bait. I fish the 3.3 a lot up in the northeast for smallies. I would recommend this bait to any fisherman looking to put fish in the boat.
From: George H: Torrington, CT 12/12/20
Comments: I been using these baits for 8 to 10 years now. Best swim bait on the market. Don't forget to buy the Keitech tungsten ballhead when fishing open water. If you glue the bait on the head it will last 10 times longer. Great Lakes smallmouth love them.
From: Phil: St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada 12/12/20
Comments: I have tried many others over the years and knockoff's work, but Keitech products are the best soft swimbaits you can buy. From the 2.8 all the way up to the largest versions, they all catch fish. The action is second-to-none and fish will hold onto these longer because of the scent.
From: Rodney: Gainesville 12/9/20
Comments: You know your using the best, when every other person, compares their swimbait to a Keitech! These baits just plain work! No matter the season or the presentation you won't go wrong with a Keitech.
From: Jody: Banks, Georgia 12/9/20
Comments: 3.3 and 3.8 should be a staple in any angler's arsenal for multiple species! Pro Blue Red Pearl, Silver Flash, and TN Shad all get it done on multiple rigging methods. A truly versatile plastic.
From: Andy: GA 12/8/20
Comments: I dont think there is much more to say about this bait! Fats are great spinnerbait, chatterbait, swim jig trailer. I fish them on a 1/8 to 1/4 oz jighead at night for walleyes and stripers. They have basically eliminated stickbiats for me.
From: Pabassman: PA 12/8/20
Comments: The action of this bait is incredible. Bites happen on the drop, swimming it through weeds, ticking bottom and moving it fast through the shallows. The 4.8 is a mainstay on Champlain! This bait has saved many a tournament for me.
From: Gary: So. Londonderry 12/8/20
Comments: Keitech Swing Impact Fat swimbaits in 3.8" are my number one goto swimbaits for shallow water smallmouth fishing period. The 3.3" swimbait is what I throw in the fall/early winter when the smallmouth are feeding in 17 to 25 feet and it is deadly. These baits are special, I have tried other brands and they do not produce the same results. The scent and action of the Keitech baits is far superior. Do yourself a favor and give them a try you won't regret it.
From: Richard: Richland, WA 12/7/20
Comments: They are the KING of soft body swimbaits. They work in the summer or winter and in any condition. I use glue to help them last longer.

Comments: The Swing Impact Fat is by far the best swim baits on the market, especially when the bite is tough or you need a big bite. the 3.3" works well for the Umbrella rig when you need bites. The swing and swag the 4.3" and 4.8" is killer on big Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Also the color selection couldn't be better to match the hatch. These are my continued swimbaits when I need that quality biteFrom: Mark Z: Rapid City, SD 11/9/20Comments: The #1 bait i reach for all yr long.from the 2.8 fat to the 3.8 fat for me in my region.the natural action of this lure is absolutely a very powerful force on everyone's top deck. I never dig for the bait. It's always up top and ready to go. It's actually in my hand most of the time.all species love it.#FACTFrom: Ron P: Bridgeport, CT 11/2/20Comments: 5.8" with 8/0 Owner Beast hook. Add tungsten nail weights. The rest is up to you. From: Jason: Texas 10/29/20Comments:These swimbaits are NOT worth the money. After one small bay bass, the bait was useless. The plastic was shredded, and I was not able to re-route the hook into the plastic.I had read some reviews from others who had the same problem with this plastic's durability. But I had to try it on my own.The squid scent which is formulated into the plastic itself works very well, but it makes the plastic too soft.
From: Walter - Los Angeles, CA 10/4/20
Comments:These swimbaits are by far my favorite on the market. The movement is unmatched and they just catch fish. I use the smaller ones as trailers on chatterbaits or spinner baits and the larger ones on underspins and jigheads. A fish catching machine! From: Tyler: Kansas 9/3/20
Comments:I usually fish these as a swim jig trailer, using the 3.3, 3.8 or even 4.3, depending on the size of the jighead and the forage. I was fishing one on a small, weighted swimbait hook once and had my head down, with bill of my ball cap blocking most of my vision. A streak from above followed by a loud splash almost caused me to jump out of the boat. An osprey had dived on the Keitech from on high. A bait's got to be pretty good to fool an osprey. From: Daniel, Fairfax, VA 8/3/20
Comments:I primarily use the 4.8 and rig it with just a heavy gauge hook and skin hook it for weedless. I got sick of missing fish in thick grass, pads with a hollow frog. Started throwing the keitech in the same spots as I would a frog, it glides thru the thickest vegetation and drops down in any pockets. Has proven deadly for me! I've pulled 6-7 fish over 5lbs in the last two seasons. Here in Maine those are quality fish. These baits are super versatile and can usually hold up after multiple fish. From: Randy: Bethel 7/21/20
Comments: Bot these awhile ago for a trip to the Great Lakes.Though they are not very durable they do catch bass.80 smallmouth in 8.5 hours of fishing on Sister Bay& 46 the next day. Also managed to pull in a 7 lb drum and a 31.5 inch carp weighing 14 lbs.Even the Rock Bass were all over this bait.Worked great throwing it on a Dirty jigs 1/8 ounce guppy head jig as the bass were shallow. Will definitely be stocking up for my next trip this fall.
From: Greg: Tucson, AZ 7/4/20
Comments:These are by far the best soft swimbait! Very soft plastic, yes that brings down the durability but they catch fish. From: Shawn: West Virginia 6/23/20
Comments:The Keitech fat impact is by far the best in the industry. The softer material allows the swimbait to move like it should. I don't fish any water without a pack of them with me! These are guaranteed to catch fish! From: Joshua: Cartersville, GA 6/16/20
Comments: I love these swimbaits. I live in northern Florida where it's heavy vegetation on lakes, and hard structure in the St. Johns River. This bait works great in both situations. I typically rig mine with a 3/0 weighted belly hook and slow roll it through the cover. Fish tend to really load up on this bait and don't normally short strike. The only downside is that it's a REALLY soft plastic. It makes the motion of the lure super fluid, but I usually only get 1-2 fish per bait.
From: Brock: Callahan, FL 6/1/20
Comments:The two colors I used were ghost shad (4.3 inch) and Tennessee shad ( 3.8 inch )and they were perfect. Good swimbaits that catch big and small ones and plenty of them. From:Unknown: 5/31/20
Comments: I dont know keitech has changed there formula or what? Bought a pack 3 years ago 4.8 used only three. Caught over ten bass the other day on one bait. Bought A pack of 3.8 last year and one bait equals one fish. The 4.8s I bought three years ago feels way different then The 3.8s from last summer.

Comments:One of the best paddle tail swimbaits I've used has a great action and isn't messed up easily. Perfect swim jig trailer or just on a Texas rig. This bait catches fish. From: Hunter: Georgia 2/10/20
Comments:I have been a huge user of Keitech baits along with tons of other fishermen since they have come out. These baits are #1. I just saw the new TW colors of swimbaits added to the Keitech swimbait line up, and they look awesome! Can't wait to try them out. Thanks Keitech for making some awesome tackle. Just add a Guntersville shad color. From: Unknown: New York 1/20/20
Comments:After being able to use the Keitech Swing Impact, I can honestly say this swim-bait runs circles against other versions from other brands. The flexible of the body, the colors, and overall movement and feel of this bait is incredible. These will always be in my tackle box! From: Dylan: Wisconsin 1/12/19
Comments:Out of all of the outstanding products that Keitech offers, this one is my favorite. The reviews for this bait speak for themselves. The Swing Impact Fat is the king of soft plastic swimbaits, and one of the most effective bass fishing lures I have ever used. The tail kick on this bait is unlike any other soft swimbait on the market. In addition to the unique tail kick, the body of the Swing Impact Fat has a wobble to it that fish cannot resist. I also find that these baits are a lot more durable than some of the reviews might suggest. This exact bait has won me multiple tournaments this year, and is an extreme confidence bait for me. The Swing Impact Fat has accounted for more 5+lb smallmouth than any other bait for me, including my personal best 6.48lb smallmouth. The versatility of this bait is another thing that makes it great, and smallmouth and largemouth cant help themselves when this bait passes by them. My favorite way to fish the smaller ones is on a small ball head for smallmouth. The 3.8 size is my favorite chatterbait trailer, and I also throw the 3.8-4.8 on swim jigs up shallow for largemouth, and on heavy lead heads deep for smallmouth. My favorite way to fish them are to slow roll them near the bottom, or drag them on a football head out deep. The tail on this bait kicks at the slowest speeds, making it an excellent choice for a tough bite. The Swing Impact Fat has been a staple for me, and definitely has that "it" factor.
From: Kai: Washington 1/10/20
Comments: The keitech Swing Impact Fat is second to none. The action and realism of this swimbait is unreal. I use the small ones as a single swimbait for big smallies in cold water and the big ones for big largemouth in warm water. There are more realistic colors in this thing than any other swimbait on the market in my opinion and this allows me to match the hatch better no matter what body of water I'm on. You will not see my a rig with anything other than keitech fat impact because i have so much confidence in it. This is also my most trusted trailer bait for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits as well. Really the possibilities are endless.
From: Caleb: Cortland, NY 12/26/19
Comments:Everyone that's saying they won't buy again because they're not durable is missing the fact that these things catch more fish because the softness gives them their action. Ive tried all the other brands and when rolled slow the keitech will still kick when no others will. Im fine having to change them out after a few fish. Best paddle tail on the market. Often imitated never duplicated. From: Unknown: 12/8/19

Comments:Keitech swimbaits are hands down the best swimbaits on the market. I literally use them year round for many different applications. They come in various sizes and colors which makes them very versatile. I use them on Alabama rigs, as swim jig and spinner bait trailers, and as a swimbait. Great products! From: Chris: Church Hill, TN 9/30/19
Comments:You've got the worlds best stick bait in a senko. and these are by far the worlds best swim baits in the kitech. the tail action is the best - perfect width = perfect bait. these slay in the fall on a swim jig - with or without an underspin. sink it to the depth of bass - slow roll it and hang on. -BAM -From: Dean: Las Vegas, NV 9/24/19
Comments:Oh where to begin.... Absolutely, hands down, no doubt in my mind the best swimbait on the market! Paired up with a jighead, under spin, weedless, or as a swimjig trailer these baits ut perform all that attempt to copy. To all those complaining about durability... I'd rather spend the money on a bait that actually produces than save a couple of bucks on a bait that doesn't! Keitecks simply out perform the other brands and that's a fact! From:Steven: Hermosa Beach, CA 6/30/19
Comments:Wow, what a fantastic bait! Best on the market hands down! The swimming action is in a league of its own. Most swimbaits in this category fall short with action when reeled extremely slow... not the the keiteck fat, or for that matter, all keiteck swimbaits. These baits still kick when you think you couldn't wind any slower. Best for swim jig trailers, best on a simple jig head, best on chatterbaits, best on.... see where I'm going ... keiteck is the absolute leader in the small swimbait market. Maybe not the most durable, but I'll sacrifice a keiteck before I use an inferiorbait to save a buck or two.
From:Steven: CA5/29/19
Comments:Bought these after someone suggested them and they work but I'm also not impressed at all. After 1 fish most of the time they're shredded and you have to replace them. Not very durable at all but I did catch quite a few off the 2 packs I bought but I wont. E buying again until they either make them better or the price drops down. Currently not worth what you pay.
From: Unknown: Pennsylvania5/28/19
Comments:My absolute GO TO swim bait for both largemouth and smallmouth. Don't be fooled as all not boot tail swimbaits are made the same these are what the pretenders want to be! Awesome color selection to really allow you to match the forage base in your local water. Awesome by itself on a roundball head, swimjig, chatterbait, rig, or even the small 2.8's on a drop shot. Keitech is the real deal!!
From: Matt:Haverhill, MA5/9/19
Comments: There are a lot of remakes of this bait, but the usually story holds true, nothing beats the original. Between the softer plastic, squid scent, and the natural action, these get bit a lot and the fish don't let them go.
From: Unknown - Pennsylvania 5/8/19
Comments: The Fat Impact is the most copied bait on the market and for a very good reason, it is deadly!! None of the copied baits can compare to action of the They are soft, salty and have a great action! When you use it on a jig head you can use a Hook Pay or a Rapid Fishing Solutions To and apply a small disc over the hook and it will make your bait last twice as long!! Keitech is #1
From: John - Portagevile, MO 5/8/19
Comments:These things look EXACTLY like Bass Pro Shops Speed Shad and Strike King makes on that looks just like it as well. Let me tell you the 5 1/4" one is a KILLER. Its one of my favorite kicker baits on a river and in a lake as well. I rig em with a Owner Beast hook and they flat out rock!!!
From: Jamie - 2/21/19
Comments:i loved it on a jig but, the tail breaks off after 1 bass jumps and shakes, or a blue gill eats the tail. then im stuck with a 1.50$ useless soft plastic thing. im switching to bass assassin boss shiner because its WAY stronger and 5$ not 7$ like these. they caught me so many fish but i have to but a new package after like 2 days witch i cant afford.

Comments:After quietly listening to local bass anglers talk about Keitech after a bass tourney and what the bass (Smallies) were hitting I decided to jump onto the bandwagon for my first ever experience and I'm glad I did! One of the mentions was Sun Gill, So I selected 2.8, 3.3 and 3.8. Paired up with an underspin, It was lights out. I couldn't believe how much they were hitting the combo, specially the 2.8 that I have paired up with a 1/8oz jig along with a detachable spinnerblade. I also selected Perch in 3.3 and 3.8 and have had just as much success with plus trying out ghost rainbow trout. Cons: the only con I've noticed that the tails do come off when bitten by the bass once in a while and the middle splits from time to time after hooking a bass. When using an underspin that comes with a twistlock keeper that I sometimes have to cut off the tip of the Keitech after some usage then reapply to the underspin. I also flip the keitech and use the bottom half when the middle splits (when I use a jig head) for more usage.

Comments:French Pearl on anything. Chatterbaits, swim jigs, just weightless, or with a swimbait head flat catches fish.
From:Hayden: Olney, Illinois 6/26/18
Comments:This is probably the best paddle tail swimbait on the market. They are absolutely great for almost any predatory fish. I love using these for white bass, smallmouth, and crappie all year round. I use the 2.8" and the 3.3" and they still catch big fish. While they are amazing at catching fish, they are a bit expensive and not very durable. Mine are lucky if they survive more than one fish(I do tend to rig them on swimbait jigheads so maybe that's why). Even though the plastic is not at all durable and they aren't cheap, do not let that deter you from buying these baits.
From: Trey Kennedy:Nebraska6/10/18
Comments:These baits are the best swimbaits on the market hands down, I fish lake mead and lake Mohave and the 4.8' Rainbow shad is the deal, I can catch multiple fish on this bait without tearing or sliding down the hook, I throw it with Seaguar 12 pound floro with a Revenge bait 3/8 swimbait Head (exposed hook) and these things are legit!!
From: Mike:Henderson, Nevada 6/2/18
Comments:sungill is my favorite color hands down they last a good amount of fish on a matt allen swimbait head
From:Anthony: FL 5/17/18
Comments:Keitech has great color and size options to choose from and they work great alone or as a jig or chatterbait trailer but durability can be an issue depending on how you rig them. I use Trophy Lures Speed Shads primarily since they are cheaper, more durable and also have a great tail thumping action that will not fold over during faster retrieves like the Strike Kings do.
From: Unknown 5/1/18
Comments:These are quite possibly the best bait in Bass Fishing right now, however a lot of people make the mistake of using this Keitech Swimbait year round. Read the other two Baits' reviews on when to use them instead of this. This is the most natural swimjig trailer on the market today. It has a nice wide kick and gives off enough of a profile to get smoked. This bait is also very good for being swam over shallow weed flats on a weighted swimbait hook. (Best warmwater swimbait, but NOT the best coldwater swimbait) This is also a decent chatterbait trailer; the regular Impact Swimbait outperforms the FAt in terms of having a wide, sporratic kick on the back of a Chatterbait. Best Colors IMO:(Clear water)-->Bluegill Flash, Tennessee Shad, and Pro Blue Shiner(Slightly Stained/Slightly Muddy)-->Pro Blue/Red Pearl, Green Pumpkin, and Sexy Shad(Stained/Muddy)-->Sight Flash, Black Blue Fleck, and Sun Gill
From:Nick: WI 4/17/18
Comments:The Keitech Swing Impact 5.8 is a great big fish bait. Bluegill Flash and Sight Flash are the most productive colors for me. I prefer fishing it on a 6/0 swimbait hook for weeds and bare banks, and on a 1/2 oz swinging jig or scrounger for rocks and wood. Personally, I prefer Strike King Rage Swimmers for smaller sizes, but its really just personal preference.
From: Daren:Western KY 4/14/18
Comments:These are my go-to for trailers on my swim jigs, under spins and chatter baits. They have great action and are extremely durable, I have fished a whole day catching 15+ Bass without having to change it out.

Comments: There are my favorite lures hands down!!! The 5.8 i pair with a 7/0 Trokar swimbait hook, 4.8 with 5/0 Gamakatsu, and 3.8 with 3/0 Gamakatsu and the action is insane! U can retrieve them multiple ways and cover all parts of the water colum 10/10

Comments: I always do reviews as I feel it helps us all in our buying process. I've been fishing for 22yrs and never really fished swimbaits. I started watching videos and reading reviews and decided to give them a shot. I bought the Keitech Swing Impact Fats in AYU & Bluegill Flash in the 4.8" & paired them up with Owner Beast Swimbait 4/0 in 1/8th. Fished it for the first time Nov 23rd in 47-49 degree water. Slow rolled it and would sometimes just let it sink to the bottom and then start my retrieve back up. I caught a 2lb LMB & 3 smaller ones in the 1lb range. You have a wide range of possibilities of how you can fish them. I am most definitely a fan and will be ordering some more color and some in the 3.8" size as well. Great cold water bait.

Comments:Favorite bait to throw. The bass just slam these things.
From: Derick - California 11/19/17
Comments:rigged the 3.3 on a 3/8oz coolbaits underspin & hooked multiple spotted bay bass. wide kick action on the fall & slow roll. only issue is durability, especially with the spotties. I found that I could stretch out the durability by flipping them upside down once they start to wear.
From: Karl: San Diego 11/13/17
Comments:Anytime I fish current, the mouths of hydro dams in particular, I tie on an under-spin with a pearl colored Keitech Swing Impact FAT. Smallmouth's in particular crush it! Great product!
From: NYAngler 10/20/17
Comments:One of the best lures I have ever used. A little pricey so I usually buy the bass pro speed shad and the speed shad is a little more durable. I use them for trailers.
From: Evan 10/17/17
Comments:These swimbaits are one of the more versatile baits and are my favorite way to fish for bass, hands down. I use the 4.8 bluegill on a weightless 5/0 swimbait hook and can present the bait in many ways. I fish these like a whopper plopper in early morning, slow roll them over weed beds, fish them at any depth when bass are suspended, and can fish them on the bottom very slowly when the bass want a finesse presentation. They are weedless so I never deal with snags or dragging grass to the boat, and they help maximize my time fishing. I frequently grab a rod, throw ten of these in a baggie, and catch fish all day with no problem. My favorite bait hands down.
From: Tony 6/4/17
Comments:Have tried swimbaits sporadically with little to no luck, became a low confidence lure for me. Had used Havoc grass pig. Heard of the superior action of the Keitech Fat so purchased some in 3.8. Mostly a bass guy but was on a walleye trip and heard guys were catching them in the weeds. Walleye guys don't know how to fish in the weeds, but bass fishermen should be able to. So I put a 3.8 on a 4/0 Laser Sharp 1/4 oz belly weighted swimbait hook for both my daughter and I. The screw nose really seems to help durability A LOT especially when ripping through the weeds. She caught a 26 inch walleye - right in the shallow weeds and shortly after I caught a PB walleye at 28.5 inches - 9 pounds. All of a sudden has become a confidence bait for me ;)
From: Cap 6/10/17
Comments: I love these baiting in all situations. But this year have been working great on bed fish. When the big girls do not want to bite I use a 3.8 inch with a nail weight and then a screwlock in the nose and then any loose dropshop hoo hook. Sight flash is one of my favorites for bed fish.
From: George: Delaware 5/11/17
Comments:First outing with these and I landed a 6.4 lb LMB on the 3.8 in bluegill flash. They have great action even at a crawl. Only downside is they are not very durable. Still my new favorite swimbait.
From: Unknown 5/10/17
Comments:WOW!! These baits are phenomenal i cant catch enough fish on them! i rig them up with a swim jig and it does the job!!! i use a 4.3 in blue gill flash color. these baits are GAMECHANGERS!!!!!!
From: John: NJ 5/9/17
Comments:First time using these lures i was using the bluegill flash color in the 5.8 inch size with a 6/0 belly weighted swimbait hook. I had a 9 pounder wrap me up in a tree and break off and a 6 pounder hit right at the boat and snapped the tip off the end of my rod. It was an unlucky day but i love these lures. Great action and very durable. I caught 18 bass one evening on the same bait. 10/10
From: Cade: Mississippi 5/4/17
Comments:THESE CATCH FISH! I got the 4.3 inch ones and paired it with 4/0 single hook. It swims perfect and doesn't tip side to side or go in circles. It swims perfectly straight with a lot of tail action. Will definitely be buying more of these!
From: Dawson 4/19/17
Comments:These are my favorite baits. At first when I saw them, I knew that there was no way I was going to buy them, they were way too pricey. I finally broke down and bought them. I got the 4.8 inch in bluegill flash. I rig them on a weighted 3/0 to 5/0 swimbait hook. Mustad, Owner, and Gamakatsu. The weights need to be at least 1/8 ounce. I went on a trip and I decided to tie these on since the water was so clear. I caught 30 fish on these, none of them being under 3 pounds, and the biggest were pushing 5 pounds. I caught every fish in that pond. These catch fish in the North, the South and even saltwater. Do yourself a favor and pick some up.
From: Will: North Carolina 4/18/17
Comments:This bait thumps incredibly hard and it kicks harder than an angry donkey. Speaking of donkeys, the bass kind, will absolutely destroy these baits. If I had a dollar for every time I had to use a pliers to get one out of the back of a bass's throat. I'd be using 20 dollar bills to wipe the steak juices off my face. They come in several sizes, but I only use 3 sizes across the entire country and those are the 2.8's, the 3.3's, and the 3.8's. The 2.8 is very deceiving because it's small but still has a wide-kick and catches big fish. I typically use this in early spring for Smallmouth or Spotted Bass on main lake points or deep humps. The 3.3 is the perfect underspin trailer or A-Rig Swimbait size. However, the 3.8 has caught me the most fish by a mile. I use it as a Swimjig or Chatterbait trailer or solo on a weedless swimbait hook. Bluegill Flash, Sexy Shad, and Ayu are the best colors. This being said, I've caught a fish on every color I have thrown, so it doesn't really matter which you purchase.
From: Nick: Wisconsin 4/15/17
Comments:Throwing a z man chatter bait and not getting bit. Changed trailer to Keitech Swing Impact FAT bluegill flash 4.3 on the 3/8 all white z man original chatterbait. 10 casts in stuck a solid 4.5 pounder. Like everyone has said, they catch fish.

Comments:These are the best swimbait to rig on a umbrella rig. I caught my personal best with the 4.8 inch rigged on a Matt Allen swimbait head on a umbrella rig. From: East Coast - 3/9/17
Comments:One of my favorite baits! I have caught some of my personal best bass on these. I have also had success using them in saltwater. I found they work best on the Owner Beast lock hook 5/0 1/8oz.
From: Unknown New Braunfels Texas 2/11/17
Comments:Best soft swimbait you can buy. I have now had a chance to use this in tough winter conditions, and they will bite this when nothing else works. Great for suspending fish around schools of bait. Can catch fish of all sizes, including my pb, a 9.34
From: Steve: California 1/5/17
Comments: My go to paddle tail swimbait! Crazy thumping action that bass can not resist. Works great on a siwmjig or on a swim head.
From: Noah - 1/1/17
Comments:These things straight up catch fish! I ordered the 3.8 inch in crystal shad & the bass tear them up. I caught a 5lber today on one of these things. I use the eagle claw 60 degree hook in 4/0 in 1/8 oz. I also swim it at the top as a buzzbait & i caught a couple like that too. The only downfall to these baits is that they dont have very good durability. They are like senkos. They are good, not durable,a little pricey, but hell they are worth every penny.
From:Andrew: Camarillo, CA 9/5/16
Comments:Great product. Makes a super trailer when used with the Z Man ChatterBaits, both the custom & the Freedom version, as well as other baits in the Freedom line. The 3.3 inch seems well balanced with the Z Man ChatterBait & the 3.8 inch works very well with the Freedom version of the Z Man ChatterBait system.
From: Larry: Houston, TX 7/23/16
Comments:These are by far the best swim baits on the market. The 4.8 in bluegill flash definitely get the fishes attention. Do yourself a favor and pick some up today.
From: Zach: AL 5/25/16
Comments:the Bluegill Flash color in 3.8 or 4.3 is fabulous on a buckeye lures j-will swim bait head in 1/8. Caught multiple 6lbers on this bait.
From: Nicolas: VA 3/21/16
Comments:So I can honestly say I had never used any Keitech swimbaits till last Friday. Decided to bite the bullet and see if there really was a big difference on action between the swing impact fat 4.3'' & a gambler ez swimmer on the back of a swim jig. These things look amazing in the water and my first fish on one was an 8-2 largemouth. Will be buying these more often now!
From: Cody: FL 3/21/16
Comments:Money bait. If you don't use these. you are missing the boat. I use different sizes, use bigger ones on a weighted screw lock hook for a swimbait, use the smaeer ones as jig/spinnerbait/chatterbait trailers. They work great, although not as durable as I would like. They are soft are tear easy, but they catch fish. Just buy more.
From: John: FL 3/9/16
Comments:I have literally caught four of my top five biggest bass on the 4.3 Ayu color. I fish them with 1/8 and 3/32 screw lock swimbait hooks & fish them SLOW. These can be crept along & you control the depth. When theyre just ticking the tops of grass BAM! 5 lb'ers all day, every weekend. I caught 5 bass out of a heavily fished pond today when nobody else caught anything.
From: Evan: OK 1/30/16
Comments:Just flat out a super swim bait with many applications. Terrific on a swim jig or by itself on a weighted swibait hook. Smaller ones work well on a drop shot rig. Let your imagination run with these. Not real durable but can be repaired with glue to fight again.
From: Steve: Waretloo, IA 12/16/15
Comments:Just bought the Houdini in the 4.8 inch and paired it with 3/8oz bulkhead. Second cast caught a bass on the fall, caught three more bass in short order & had a couple of short strikes all in my first few minutes on the water. One observation is that the bait easily slides off the ballhead even with glue. I changed to a 1/4 weighted swimbait hook & no further issues. Had around 10 bass in about 3 hours. Winter conditions for cali. 50 degree air & water temps.
From: Mike: CA 12/13/15
Comments:So, I bought some the 4.8" in silver flash minnow a month or two ago and only used em once since, but this is about how the time when I pick up a swim jig. So tonight I threw one on the back of a 3/8 oz dirty jigs swim jig in crappie color and it is simply the best lookin/working combo ever! Don't be intimidated by the size of this setup I was catching 10" smallmouth on this thing! This bait flat out works no doubt. No need to downsize for smallies, they just eat it! Smallmouth and largemouth both eat this thing! Will be buying many more very happy with the product

Comments: My Dad & I went on a fishing trip to West Virginia, where the old man proceeded to trounce me for several hours. We had decided early that morning to use soft swimbaits due to the conditions & I have always used Basstrix baits. After 3 hours of watching him catch larger bass as well as greater numbers of fish (2 to 1 ratio), I finally asked him what he was fishing with. With a grin, he replied "Keitech Swing Impact Fats!" I drove him crazy until he "loaned" me one of the Ayu 4.3 inch Keitechs. First cast brought in a 4 lb.6 oz. largemouth.
From: Brian: Bidwell, OH 7/5/15
Comments:This is one of the best baits I have ever used. I have used every size but always in the bluegill flash. I match the size I use to the technique I am using. They get tore up pretty quick but I use mend-it to repair tears and can get a few more cast from each bait. They seem to get tore up the most when you get the small fish grabbing the tails. easily my go to bait. They will get bit when nothing else will. They are deadly on an Alabama rigs.
From: Gary: Kewanee, IL 6/30/15
Comments:These are one of the best swimbaits I have ever used. I use the 3.8 and 4.3 most of the time but do go bigger depending on the area I am fishing. The only color I use is the Bluegill Flash. I have numerous family and friends that are now using the Impact Fat after watching me. They are not real durable but it is usually the small fish that tear them up by grabbing the tail. Three to 6 fish is usually the limit. Some people will fish them on a jig head but I have better luck and better action on a weighted hook, usually 4/0 or 5/0. Impact Fat will catch fish when nothing else is working.
From: Gary: Kewanee, IL 6/23/15
Comments:Love these guys! Got the 5.8 and the action is amazing. The only flaw is since the heavy salt content, the plastic isnt very strong, maybe 4-7 fish in, and the bait wont stay on the hook correctly, but i think it is worth it.
From: Matt: Plainfield, IL 6/4/15
Comments:These are absolutely the best Soft body swimbaits I have ever bought. the 3.8 and 4.3 inch absolutely kill largemouth bass. Blue gill flash Is the go tO color. Rigged with a size 5 weightless swim bait hook and go catch some bucket mouths.
From: Garret: NC 5/17/15
Comments:Great swimming action. But as expensive as these swimbaits are you would think durability would be a little better. 2 maybe 3 fish and these things are trashed, fish bite the tails off!
From: Jared: TX 5/4/15
Comments:I absolutely love these baits. I was out fishing yesterday, in the CA delta and brought home a 14 Lb striper that completely hammered this bait. Didn't rip or tear, I would buy these over and over again. I have noticed that most of the bites come from retrieving the bait and then pausing and allowing it to fall. They can't stand the tail wag on the fall, thats when you're going to get bit... Looks incredible in the water, I can't say enough good things about this bait. I would recommend to ANYONE!!! You can rig it anyway you want.
From: Dee: CA 3/12/15
Comments:these things are great, absolutely love them, but for the money ill go to kicker fish baits and get these 50% cheaper and not sacrifice the effectiveness of the baits at all
From: Matthew: USA 2/13/15
Comments:I wanted to update my earlier review. I said the 4.8 was to big for the A-rig, but I went to Guntersville and I can say I wish I had some 5.8" down there. These baits are great I mostly use them on a swim jig but I have also used them in saltwater for sea trout. 4.8" is my favorite size in Illinois.
From: Matt: Moweaqua, IL 11/25/14
Comments: These things are awesome. Great action. The tail has a real wide kick that moves a lot of water. I'm riggin them on a arig or a single swim jighead and gettin bit in heavily pressure fisheries. Thought these were all hype till i gave them a chance, but they flat out work
From: Blackwater Kayak Anglers: Fresno, CA 11/24/14
Comments:Phenomonal bait! High quality n best swimming action, love the ribbed body. Truly think it makes big difference. It's great alone but I especially love'em for swim jig trailers and bladed swimbait trailers. Also great on a nice swimbait jighead. Smallies gobble'em up too.
From: Tanner: MA 11/9/14
Comments:Just got back from northern Wisconsin, fished the Chippawa Flowage with the 4.8 size sun gill and the sight flash, rig on a 5/0 EWG 1/8 oz. hook, all I can say is there awesome. Got my biggest bass ever up there, 5.5 lbs. That's a big bass for this northern lake. Out of the 15 baits I took, 10 where bite off by northerns or muskies. Never had a bait work so good as this one, there worth every penny! On here now to order more for the next trip.
From: Mudslick: Hayward, WI 8/2/14
Comments:I would highly recommend these swim baits. I use a 3/8 vmc jig head with the 4.8 sexy shad. This bait does it all. I use it to burn through weeds that are 1ft under water or through scattered weed pockets. A fast burn and pause retrieve drives fish to come up out of weeds and nail this bait. Very durable bait. I caught 15 bass and was still using it until a northern ripped the tail off. Putting a dab of superglue on the head of the swim bait to the jig head will keep the bait running perfect 100% and will make the swim bait last longer. Some may tear earlier but to me this bait runs true either if your burning it through weeds or if your just slow rolling it on a-rigs. Wouldn't use any other swim bait. Tournaments are won on baits that work. This bait gives u the confidence to do so.....
From:Andy: Valpo, IN 4/20/14
Comments:So glad they have new colors now. Can't wait to use them. They are one awesome bait. Works great for a trailer to. Well worth the buy.
From:Nathan: NY 3/12/14
Comments:I threw this swimbait and the Power Team Lures 4.8 inch swinging hammer the same day...I caught way more fish on the PTL swinging hammer even though these swimbaits have similar actions so try a PTL swimbait if u like this swimbait
From:Nathan: Leander, TX
Comments:I love these foe swim jig trailers. No other paddle tail has action this good. Its going to wag no matter how slow your retrieve. That being said the trade off for that action is the softer plastic that is not as durable as one would hope. However they are well worth the buy.
From:Kevin: Austin, TX
Comments:Best softbait I've ever used. Not extremely durable though but it catches heaps of fish so can't complain about anything else, can I?From:Sebastian: Townsville, Queensland: Australia
Comments:I used the 3.8" male perch and 3.8" green pumpkin on a week long fishing trip. Easily my top bait of the week rigged on a weighted EWG hook. Love the action and so did the fish. Tails get torn off fairly quick and I had ran out of both packages before the first day of fishing. Tried the Zoom swim flukes, Berkley sick fish, and the Lake fork magic shad boot tail...they just didn't get bit as much. For me Keitech is worth the extra $.
From: Chris: IL
Comments:Kept these in my bag for about a week after I bought them at Fishermans warehouse....Out on the lake one day and had a had a few more hours before it gets dark...decided to tie it on and threw it in...no more than 15 cast I got a bite...and still getting bites everytime I use them...no plastic ever last so I wouldn't worry about that...unless it was elaztec...however u spell it...money will be worth it....many ways to rig these baits but I just slow roll them with a twistlock hook...any brand....whatever Ur comfortable with...thanks for reading

Comments:These baits catch fish and thats that!!! I started using the revenge jig head and it holds the bait really well, not to mention it makes the bait look more realistic. i can catch three good size bass before i need to reach for a new one. (sometimes more) Good fishing guys!

Comments: Best swimbait known to man. Fish this over a bed and you're hooked. Amazing action, well worth the money, and somewhat durable. From: AR
Comments: Im not sure what it is about these baits but the bass absolutely annihilate them! Just rig one up on a screw locked swimbait hook and it will last you alot longer. From:OceanLab: Socal
Comments:These are one of my favorite baits right now, I put these 4.8in on a 3/8 lead head or the 2.8in on an under-spin and its GAME OVER for the LMB's. The strike that you'll get on these baits are RIDICULOUS!!!!! I usually stick to my Green/black in color, try it you wont be disappointed. The only down side to the bait is that after one fish the Bait is pretty much trashed because the head wont hold to the lead head after its been pulled back. Just my 2 cents. From: Ricky: Diamond Valley Lake CA.
Comments: I have only used the 4.8's. these are awsome swimbaits. On the A Rig they are deadly. They swim so good in the water and the fish can't resist themFrom: Rob: East Bay, CA
Comments:These are terrible baits, they wreck giant smallmouth which are no fun to catch. Buy something else! Seriously guys.. If you fish tournaments whats an extra $10 in baits a tournament especially if you cash a cheque?
From: Tim: Canada
Comments: Awesome baits. Price doesn't bother me, but the durability does to some extent. These are loaded with salt, similar to Yamamoto baits. Because of this I feel that they do get bit more than the average paddletail, but at the expense of durability. When rigged on a jig head, it only takes a few fish to tear the bait down off the hook holder. Even with super glue, mend-it, etc..the salt in the bait makes it tough to be repaired effectively. Packaging is great, action is great, effectiveness is great. From: Justin: Long Beach
Comments:This is a great bait!! For all you whiny kids that complain about price, they are worth it! I even caught bass on a bait after it got its tail ripped off hahaha!!! You definitely want to get the biggest size and rig with a 6/0 owner beast hook. I used that and caught a 7lber!
From: Ryan: CA
Comments: Very much worth the price. Comes in great packaging, keeping tails straight until use. Great thumping action on the tail. Was fishing for smallies w/ a 2.8" and they loved it, as did the crappie!
From: Jon: WY
Comments: Insane swimming action fish can't resist . When nothing works this thing will procedures fish . Caught few descent size bass on first day testing with 4.8 , but fish tear them up very easily.
From: Fishkiller01: NYC, NY
Comments: Let peeps keep crying about the price. Cool, dont use em. More fish for me! Just a simple 1/8 oz round jig head with a good hook works fine. Superglue the bait to the jig head. Slow roll. These things are the real deal, homie.

Comments: The KEITECH 3.8 and 4.8 is all i throw in the spring and Fall once you really figure out how to properly rig and use them there is no other bait that will come close !!! Best Bag using the 4.8 !!! on Champlain fish 22.63lbs !!!!
From: Clemente: Farmington, CT
Comments:Killer baits. The best for me have been the 3.8, they slay smallmouth up North. Throw them for smallies on shallow sand flats in the spring and you can't go wrong. The 4.8 has an awesome action on a weighted swimbait hook; these have been my go to baits for quite a while. The 5.8 has been a great throwback Muskie bait for me, wish they would come out with a 6.8 size. From: Zach: NJ
Comments:Absolutely awesome, caught two citation smallies here in virginia in the past week on the 5.8 inch version with a 1/2 oz swimbait jig head. The action is unmatched, I wont throw another paddle tail after using these. The fish honestly seem to go after the bigger types, A buddy threw the 4.8 the whole day and couldnt get bit!
Comments:amazing biat great action i caught a 10 lb bass on one fish love the feel of them when the fishing is hard thats my go to bait also it is a wonderful trailer to spinner baits
From: Joey: NJ
