The Lazer Trokar HD Worm Hooks feature Trokar's unique surgically sharpened three-sided hook points - making them twice as sharp as any other hook on the market. Proven in tests to penetrate with half the pressure required for other leading hooks, the Lazer Trokar HD Worm Hooks benefit from Trokar's Surgically Sharpened Technology (SST). This patent-pending process precisely grinds the three sides of the hookpoint using a high-speed, computerized grinder designed for surgical needles. Lazer Trokar also determined the precise angle of the Low-Profile Barb using highly specific geometric calculations to provide easier penetration and the ultimate in holding power.
In addition, Trokar bolstered the wire diameter of the hook and used a unique tempering process, specifically tailored to bring out the maximum strength potential of the ultra-high carbon steel Q741 wire. The result is a stouter hook that allows for aggressive hook-sets and intense fights, as well as, just the right amount of flex to resist breaking. Delivering maximum penetration for a significantly better catch ratio, the Lazer Trokar HD Worm Hooks are heavy duty round bend hooks perfect for rigging worms and soft plastics with the performance to put you in the money.
"The TK100 HD Worm Hook has given a facelift to an old standby .. and it looks awfully pretty! - Gerald "G-Man" Swindle, Bassmaster Elite Series Professional.
Comments: I use these hooks punching in canada and have never had one bend out ( i have an aggressive hookset) and my hookup is 98% and always in the top of the mouth between the eyes i use them from a 3/0 to a 5/0 depending the bait and they all impress!

Comments: These hooks are razor sharp. Since switching to them I have had solid hook sets with little effort. Be careful easy to hook yourself. I have yet to have any issue with broken hooks or bending them out. From: Noel: NH 8/3/19
Comments: I have written dozens and dozens of reviews on TW and I would say that 100% are positive or the very least neutral. The quality of these hooks seem to be all over the place. I have used some that would pull a truck in and would stick glass, but I must have gotten a few bad packs. This weekend I broke two of these hooks. 5/0 with a Zoom lizard on a C-rig. I was not catching 10 lb fish, hanging them on rocks (or anything for that matter). Just feel the tap, reel up slack, and sweep set and boink a broken hook. I mean a clean break at the bend. As we only had 4-5 keeper bites all day in a tough tournament that is unacceptable. I was using 18lb Sunline with a 14lb leader on a 7'4 Falcon Moderate Fast rod. Not that beefy of a set-up for this outcome. Never have broke a hook in 20+ years of tournament fishing. I am a little gun shy using them again, which stinks because I am fully stocked with them and gave most of my other hooks away. Gonna play with the other hooks that I bought at the same time and see if I can break them too.

Comments: Best hook I've ever used, don't plan on getting the hook out with your hands, you'll need pliers, if you hook them, consider them on the boat. Beats all competition by a long shot
From: Mike: Washington DC 4/7/17
Comments: The first time I used this hook ,I felt the hook actually cut into the fish' mouth on the hook set and I was sold. Been playing this game a long time & it was the first time I felt that but not the last. I was fishing a 2/0 offset HD worm hook with a Berkley 6" lizard in a team tournament & we cashed a nice check. That was several years ago and several styles of this hook have become a main stay! The points are fragile but if you stick your plastics "shallow" instead of skin hooking it will help protect the points. Bring mend it for your baits & band aids for your fingers. these are sharp!

Comments: Fishing is an expensive hobby. These hooks are reasonably priced and no question about it they are worth the money. The sharpest hooks out there that will get you more hook ups and put more fish in the boat. A hook point will only last so long when your catching fish or banging in through rocks, but these hooks stay sharp for a long time and if you are using the right size hook for your application, they will not bend or break!!! Any bad reviews are from inexperienced fisherman. Love these hooks.

Comments: Im Sorry, I Loved Gamakatsu Before But Theres NoThing That Beats This Hook. Gama's Are So Fragile While Using Superline Even The 1/0 Trokar Is Stronger Then 4/0 Gama. IVe Never Bent The one Of These And Stays Sharper Longer.Buy Them And U Won't Be Dissapointed. 94 Bass On One HooK One Day. Thx Eagle Claw.

Comments: I got some of these hooks a couple weeks ago(2 ought) and I caught a 7 pounder the other day. these hooks are amazing! From: Kyle: Leesburg, FL
Comments: Junk, waste of money, overpriced, peice of crap hooks, so many fish missed. HATE THEM>From: John: NH
Comments: Only use Trokar for all my hook needs. Never had an issue and the hook up ratio is amazing. No comparison, best hook on the market. From: Ryan: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Comments: Absolutely the best hook I've ever used. All I ever used before these was Gamakatsu, but these are just as good, if not better than them. Will be getting more in the future. Only negative thing about Trokar is the price. A bit on the steep side, but I think they are worth it.

Comments: I got a free pack from doing a survey on their website and i decided to try them out. Texas rigged a 7" Berkley power worm with a 3/8 Tungsten weight and brought in about 4 bass and then the tip of the hook bent out. After that the hook up ratio went down the drain. For a price at 6.99 is ridiculous for 5 hooks only to have the tip bent out after a few fish. I would not recommend these hooks to anyone. STICK WITH GAMAKATSU!!! They are cheaper and will last a lot LONGER!!!!

Comments: I dont understand why these hooks get such a bad rap.....I've put em through the paces and can safely say they have put more fish in the boat than any other hook made. These hooks hold fish and pierce muscle with less effort period. They get the nod from me when money is on the line.
From: J: GA
Comments: Yeah they are sharp... but that doesnt matter when the hook bends out on alot of hooksets and you dont get the fish in the boat. Very dissapointed with these hooks especially for the price. I was bending them out with a typical hookset with 12lb fluorocarbon. Overpriced garbage
From: Colby: Pace, FL
Comments: These hooks are wicked sharp. the sharpest ive ever seen, the first day i used them i did a one-hand hookset using a 10 inch worm. that impressed me. I bought mine on sale for $5 which was great. These hooks are the best of the best...but im going to hold off on trokars unless i can find them on sale.
