Comments: Honestly; these reels are awesome. For the $40 price tag I can't imagine you could find a better reel. These reels are super smooth; light weight and have a great drag system. I have hauled in a few monster bass and pickerel with these in the 200 size. I use these for all of my finesse rods and feel no need to look for anything different. They even look incredible. I did have one issue with one of these; my bait got stuck under water and I tried to pull it free while holding the reel. It snapped right at the foot of the reel; but guess what, I contacted Lew's customer service and a week later I had a brand new one in my hands! I just cannot believe how smooth this reel is for the price!
