The Lucky Craft Sammy 105 is a refined version of the traditional Sammy with additional deadly fish catching characteristics. The rounded body shape of all Sammys make "walking the dog" easy for anglers even those with less experience fishing topwater baits. The same holds true for the Sammy 105. The Sammys are deadly lures that can attract a lot of bass even the monsters when the topwater bite is on. Lucky Craft has added another hook to the Sammy 105, bringing the total up to 3 hooks. Topwater baits, Sammys included are notorious for having bass slap the lure and get away between actually hooking up. The 3 hooks give you an extra valuable chance to hook some of those fish that get away. Lucky Craft also added a single knocker in the tail of the bait comprised of a tungsten ball which rattles during the "walk the dog" motion of the lure. This subtle knocking noise while walking the bait will help call fish from deeper water for even more strikes. The additional hook will help seal the deal. The Sammy 105 is an advanced take on the proven Lucky Craft Sammy design.
Upgrade Your Treble Hooks!
Comments: Hot summer July weekend. Lost count on number caught with Sammy 105. Fish were chasing bait busting the top. Had a great time. Caught 2 on one cast with this lure.

Comments: With 3 sets of trebles, this is a nice improvement on the 2-hook version. The 105 is good at slow to moderate retrieves, but so are lots of other walking baits. Fast retrieves are where it outperforms the others. I especially like it for smallmouth in current.

Comments: I have tried many top water walking baits and this is the best. I prefer the older Sammy with two hooks.

Comments: One of the best walking baits on the marker. Lucky Craft baits always deliver..!!

Comments: Nice addition to the walking topwater arsenal. I fish herring lakes and while I still like the 95 for shallow and actively working fish, this 105 version is well suited for walking over deep brush and cane piles. Slightly wider profile than the 95 - casts further, but is still easy to walk. This bait has a noticeably different sound from the 95; the mix of small rattles and "one knock" sound calls deep fish better. And, it has a full complement of (3) treble hooks! They smash it and nearly every fish has two trebles buried.

Comments: Super easy to walk and casts a mile. Smallmouth were chasing shad in a shallow creek and they smashed the Bone Shad color. The three hooks give me more confidence than the two hook Sammy.

Comments: I have a lot of the 2 hook Sammy's but the 3 hook 105 is awesome. I should have bought these sooner!
From: Roland: San Diego, CA 7/11/21
Comments: The Sammy is the best topwater for blueback herring lakes. Comes in a range of sizes and the 105 size is perfect with three hooks and a increased hookup ratio with the extra hook. Great colors too. From: Tommy: Toccoa, GA 2/7/21
Comments: This bait is a go to for me and I fish it in many colors. I walks well and casts well even in the wind. It is a quality bait with very sharp hooksFrom: Bruce: 11/18/20
Comments: Great bait. Excellent waking and even better hookup ratio with the 3rd hook. From: Rueben: Milford, KS 11/18/20
Comments: The bait did not walk well. I was very upset with the action. Bait was light to cast, the sound of bait was bad it needs to be a one knocker! From: Pete: Acworth, GA 10/29/20Comments: It works well but is a little light weight for long cast with 30lb braid. From: Stacy: Clayton 10/26/20Comments:I have caught so many trophy Smallmouth on the 100 that when they released the 105, I jumped on it. I love the extra hook. I have missed a handful of fish on the 100 because it only has 2 trebles. The third treble on the 105 is nice since it prevents missing fish that strike the side of the bait. I have caught a lot of fish on the 105 but I have noticed a few things that are different from the 100. The clicking sound of the bait as it walks is louder than the 100. The 100 has more of a soft sound that works incredibly in quiet settings. The 105 has a loud click that sounds a little bombastic when the scene is quiet. I love Lucky Craft baits and The Sammy is one of the best walking baits around. If you only buy one bait, I would buy the 105 since it's hook up ratio is higher than the 100 but I would buy both 100 and 105 baits because they do make very different sounds that I feel can make a difference.

Comments:The 105 has 3 hooks instead of 2 hooks like all the other sizes. Unfortunately the hooks that come with them are two big and they foul on just about every cast. I've taken it out on two trips and always wind up tying on the regular 100 or a super spook. On the other hand I just discovered that Mustad makes the Triple grip series treble hooks in a short shank. I'll try to swap out the hooks and give them another shot. Meanwhile, I highly recommend that Lucky Craft fix this problem at the factory. From: MaxZmus: San Diego, CA
Comments:not my favorite topwater for walking the dog - I much prefer Lucky Craft's Gunfish. I got this bait in an aurora black and had problems on the first cast. Maybe I got a wrottten one but mine doesnt walk correctly unless the tip of the rod is worked up in the air. The Gunfish; however, walks perfectly with little effort; great action and spitting that draws in schoolies on the Conway chain and Butler Chain here in Florida. If your going to spend this much $ on a topwater, get a gunfish instead.

Comments: This lure is an excellent smallmouth bait, and with the extra hook, it's a great one. The 115's are nice, but I miss a lot of fish on them. The action, colors, they're all right there. From: Joe: Bellingham, WA
Comments:There are sooo many bait companies that try to copy the Sammy but nothing throws, walks or spits like a true lucky Craft Sammy.
