Overview
Like its cousin, the Lunkerhunt Bento Minnow, the Lunkerhunt Swim Bento Minnow delivers an incredibly lifelike baitfish imitation with tons of action. However, instead of a split tail, the Lunkerhunt Swim Bento Minnow is equipped with a lively, keel-shaped paddle tail. This keel-shaped paddle tail disburses water evenly throughout the water and reinforces the bait to make it incredibly durable. For an added element of attraction, the Lunkerhunt Swim Bento Minnow is also equipped with an internal holographic insert that creates a brilliant flash to attract nearby fish. Offered in a number of bass-catching colors, the Lunkerhunt Swim Bento Minnow takes the proven effectiveness of the original and modifies it with a lively backside that drives bass wild.

Comments: Appearance wise the lure is very realistic but it has some flaws. 1.) The lure has a heavy chemical smell out of the package and targeted striped bass did not like the funky smell 2.) needs an exact size EWG hook to rig or the hook will hang up in the lures foil materiel in the center. IF the hook stick into the foil material it wont come out without tearing up. If you line it up wrong and need to reset it to be straight it tears the center foil up 3.) The plastic itself is also stiff and a EWG hook or offset worm hook seems to miss bites as a result. Package says you can run a lead head through but keeping it straight and not snagging up on the material in the center is difficult. The smaller 4.5 bents says dace then the same product in 5.5 inch size is called Anchovy so it looks like the company put this lure to salt applications. The 4.5 drop shots fine on a wide gap hook but that is not going to work on the bigger salt applications 5.5 product. Great looks and attention to detail but not the easiest product to use and the packs don't give very good instructions on hook size for each product and there also quite expensive for a plastic lure the 5.5 costing about $2.00 a piece, 4 for $7.99.

Comments: Killer on a swim jig. Mylar keeps them from slipping. Weedless no weight in pads is good too. Makes a big splash on the surface. Doesn't slip when rigged weedless either.

Comments: Used these on a jig head while Ice fishing for lake trout in 100 fow. The action on the paddle tail along with the realistic look of the bait is irresistible to them. Fantastic!!!!
