Overview
Modeled after a threadfin shad, one of bass' favorite forage, the Megabass Flap Slap is one of the most versatile lures in the Megabass lineup, as well as, one of the few all-year-round producers on the market. Its patented, internal Megabass Shaft Balancer System, adapted from the Vision 95, gives the Flap Slap its unique rolling action, and allows it to accurately mimic an injured baitfish. The advanced design of the Flap Slap also allows you to fish it with a steady or stop-and-go retrieve like a conventional crankbait, or even with the distinctive jerks associated with lures like the Vision 110. Through each retrieve style/speed, the balancer system keeps the Flap Slap running true, allowing for distinct presentations.
The Flap Slap excels in a variety of situations, but some of the most ideal are around rocky banks, riprap, and over submerged grass beds. Water visibilities of 1 to 5 feet and water temps from 40 to 90-degrees have proven particularly effective for the Flap Slap. Available in a range of Megabass colors, the Megabass Flap Slap will run about 3 to 5 feet on 10-20lb line.
Megabass | Length | Weight | Depth | Class |

Comments: I absolutely love these baits! If MegaBass would make this exact same bait but in a 4" or bigger size I would go broke buying them! This thing catches everything, but a bigger version would catch giants! You will never regret buying these especially after you learn how to use them!

Comments: This bait will get bites in places you never thought there were bass on your home lake. This thing has been a life saver especially in practice because fish just can't seem to resist this. Even if they don't commit to it, they will show themselves. It truly catches about anything. Ive caught catfish, carp, drum, largemouth, small mouth, blue gill, and lots of crappie on this thing. The action, realism, and flash is like nothing else I've ever really seen! Too bad they don't carry Japanese colors, because there are some I've gotten from eBay that are absolutely killer!

Comments: Not a popular bait...there is a cult following, and I am in that cult (since 2010). There is one color that really slays in my area, and coupled with a certain retrieve, it is AWESOME. I am not spilling the beans on this color or retrieve. But try this bait. Just buy one, and see if it is for you. Fish it however you want. It works. All year long.

Comments: Bought the yellow perch color at my local tackle shop, had these on clearance for $5 each!!! I grabbed 2 and after fishing them quickly went right back and bought the 8 more they had. First cast in a current seam a 2lb smallie smashed this thing, second cast another 2lber, 3rd cast a 4lber. They were ATTACKING this bait, matches small pan fish very well and the colors are quite accurate in the water. I prefer this over a 110 when the fish want a slightly different flavor of a hard bait, specifically when its cold but not super frigid temps. Pick one up, they are killer!

Comments: This bait has taken over as my favorite winter time crankbait. Have caught several 3-5's already this winter on this bait. Megabass in general are not the most durable hardbaits, and you definitely want to have spare trebles, but this bait flat catches fish when it's too cold for most others to produce. Getting a few more and some Diving Flap Slaps to get down a little deeper.

Comments: I catch alot of largemouth bass with this lure- when other jerkbaits wont. Unfortunately, it also catches alot of small bass and panfish like crappie. I guess maybe a version with a larger profile would be worthwhile to attract mainly larger bass. That being said, I think its worth it. I think its most similar to a Berkely Flicker shad- but better.

Comments: These are great baits. I've had numerous days where this jerkbait will outfish any other jerkbait in my box. Something with the shape and the movement just gets them. This lure is also a floater.

Comments: The finish is awesome, the action looks great, but. After 6 years in my box in 3 different colors. They didn't out fish other baits, they didn't catch big ones, and a few of mine have lost their bill. In a few words, these are super nice, very good looking, fragile and too expensive baits. Buy them if you want to.

Comments: Very nice action. I used it for a while like a jerkbait. Caught a nice 3.5 lb bass the first time I used it. Fragile. Later in the day I tossed it towards a dock. It did hit the dock, but not all that hard and it broke off where the bill meets the lure body. The plastic they are made from appears to be brittle.

Comments: This one is right up there with the 110! Caught 3 fish very quickly on the first outing. A bit lighter and a bit more buoyant than the 110.
