Amazing head design, middling hooksThese hardly ever get snagged and really do stand up the best. The hooks aren’t terrible, but they do dull faster than some others I own. The one size of hook only approach doesn’t facilitate the smaller, extremely effective crayfish and creature baits. I dislike having to go to less effective jig heads for those.
I’d rather be able to swap the to the excellent Owner center pin screw lock that would be free to swivel than be locked into the mediocre, rigid one that is molded in. Correct rigging is very important. Still, the head design of these so far outshine everything else that the other shortfalls are worth putting up with. A seven star jig head with three star components equals five stars, I guess.

Comments: I have been using Megastrike shakeyheads and bigger jig heads for over 20 years. I've got a handful of every size and color in my box. A few years ago I caught my personal best, 8#6, on a 1/4 oz with a 6" Roboworm. I had been catching spots when all of a sudden Big Mama showed up. Great jig heads! Fish everything on these from little finesse worms to big size Brush Hogs, on the larger hook size 1/2 & 3/4 oz sizes.

Comments: These are the best shaky heads out there, but there's plenty of room for improvement. What makes them the best is that they really do stand up and get bit very well. This is the bottom-line that keeps me using these despite their other annoyances. The hooks catch fish at a good rate, but aren't great at staying sharp. The "one size fits all" hook doesn't at all fit smaller craws and creatures (which can be the most effective baits at catching large, deep holding smallmouth). The angle of the keeper relative to the bend and point of the hook makes it difficult to smoothly rig some baits. Hook-sets result in a higher rate of tears than with other jig heads. A recessed line tie would also be an improvement. The head design is truly revolutionary, the hooks and keeper aren't.

Comments: Best Shakey Heads on the market period. Stands up you worm/bait every time and will pop out of rocks, structure and cover with ease. only ones I use!

Comments: Been using stick worms on shaky heads for quite some time but the weight of the worm often caused the tail to go to the bottom or the rig would fall over sideways. This rig keeps the tail of the stick worm up above the bottom. I just creep it along the bottom with subtle twitches of the rod tip then I stop and leave it set. Caught some beauty 5+ pound largemouths and a couple 30+" northern pike with this rig. Try a stick worm on this shaky head for a change of pace. It might be something the fish haven't seen before.

Comments: Been using these shakey heads for several years now. When the bite gets tough I tie one on. Comes through rocky areas great, you will hang up, but you can pop it loose easily. It will stand your worm up every time and has a great hook up ratio. Best shakey head I've used so far, I have several different brands in my tackle box but this the only one I reach for anymore.

Comments: just an effective product,I challenge any plastic anywhere to make this fall over. Seriously, if shaken head is your thing, then this is your thing too! It really works well, just as everyone else says. I would recommend this product, almost as strongly as I recommend Tacklewarehouse!

Comments: I fish a lot of shakys and this is by far the best balanced, it just refuses to fall any other way than straight down. Just picked some some of the 1/2 oz ones, I struggled to make them sit flat so they'd fit in my tackle box. Tried it for the first time on a nasty afternoon in december with the Xcite maximus big 10" floating worm...fishing it slow around some brush landed a 5lber. I fish really weedy lakes and this one hangs up the least out of all the shakys I've tried. Planning on getting some of the lighter ones for finessing it soon. Definitely buy these they are worth it.

Comments: This Shaky head makes your bait stand up effortlessly. I paired a 1/2 oz green pumpkin with a F6.5 Hag's Tornado and caught a 5 pounder and won big fish on our Tourney on 8/13/11.
