Comments: This is ALMOST the perfect punch hook but you CANNOT snell tie this hook and that is a must for me. This hook does NOT have a completely welded eye. Instead, they used some kind of epoxy to cover the gap that exists because it is not welded. From my direct experience, I guarantee you that this epoxy will fail after some hook sets and then your braid will fall into the gap and get cut. I love the hook point, the stoutness, and especially the bait keeper but wish they completely closed the hook tie!

Comments: Finally found a hook for punching that holds up. Bait keeper is perfect, hook is stout and sharp. Stays sharp too, caught 15+ fish and no rolling or flexing with 65# braid. As said by others, this is the best punching hook available right now.

Comments: The below review is 100% correct. This is without question the best punching hook out there right now. I've tried them all, Trokar Nasty, Hack Attack, Gamas etc... The keeper on this one is the best and I just don't get why other manufacturers cant copy it. The hook is plenty sharp enough but no so sharp that it slices thru the bait when you're punching the heavy stuff (looking at you Trokar). Also, the "comeback" on this hook is just the perfect angle for punching with a Snell knot. Comments: Best punching hook on the market, this hook flies under the radar but by far the best bait keeper. Super sharp and doesn't split the back of your bait in half like the straight shank hooks with the molded plastic keeper.

Comments: I was a huge fan of EWG style hooks for flipping. But recently I'm using heavier 3/4 oz weights and missing some good fish. Heart breaking. So just like the pros say straight shank hook with a snell knot and bam huge difference. First trip out today with these hooks 6 fish landed 5!!!! in the thick thick stuff

Comments: I got a pack of these bacause of all the good reveiws, they are a good hook, sharp and strong, little flex, best bait keeper in my opinion. But the only issue is a pretty big one, the soating on them doent completely fill the space between the end of the eye and the shank so you cant snell this hook without cutting the line. Maybe i just got a bad pack but, i hope so because i love everything else about the hook.

Comments: Awesome hook!! Very stout n strong. Has a smaller shank than other flipping hook's but this is my new go to hook for heavy cover thick mats! For sure a BEAST HOOK seems thicker guage than the hack attack hooks and has good bait keeper
