Soft Plastic Jerkbait Gear Guide
The Owner CPS Spring allow any soft bait to be secured to the hook by inserting the pin in the center of the bait's nose, then screwing the bait onto the coil spring to rig perfectly everytime. As featured on the Owner Twistlock hooks, these interchangeable stainless steel Centering Pin Springs (CPS - Patent Pending) have far superior holding power, as compared with barbed stick-pin holders. Three sizes allow for maximizing holding strength for any size bait.

Comments: These are awesome! Every fisherman should keep these on hand. They flat out beat every other spring on the market, and it makes a huge difference. Unless you're trying to attach a 1" plastic, don't buy size small. The medium or even large will work on pretty much everything.

Comments: These are incredibly versatile. Turn your standard round head jig into a springlock shaky head? Yup. "Nose Hook" a fluke to a drop shot? Yup. Turn your favorite EWG hook into a springlock swimbait hook? Yup. Trailer attachment? Yup. The possibilities are insane! Suddenly everything you wanted to have a screwlock now has one - and it's the centering pin version by Owner which is the best one by far. Next I'm going to try tying a few of these up and down the line from my drop shot bait - attaching them directly to the line without needing to add a hook...who knows?

Comments: I buy these for the Owner Flashy Swimmer and switch out the small screw locks that come on them. The perfect hook for a bank fisherman using Keitechs and other swimbaits. It's weedless and doesn't get snagged as easy as an open hook jig head. I get the medium for the 1/0 and large for 3/0 and 5/0. Switching to a larger size screw lock will give you much more life out of your paddle tail swimbaits! I learned that trick from Tactical Bassin

Comments: My favorite combo is to carolina rig the small pin + Decoy Jig53F size 2 or 3 hook and a 2.8" keitech FAT swing impact. You get a weedless bottom-swimming minnow imitation that catches everything. My only wish was that they would make an even smaller size for the centering pin. Then I could use a size 10 jig hook and weedless rig tiny paddletails for crappies and panfish.

Comments: These are invaluable for me when fishing an Alabama Rig. We only get 3 "live" baits on an A-rig. I attach my two dummy baits with these. They work great. I don't have to destroy a jighead and with these the rig is easy to balance and run true. Medium and Large are my sizes.

Comments: Been fishing for decades and these things have revolutionized bait attachment. They have amazing holding power as I have been able to prove on the water as well as at home in my living room while entertaining my 2 Ditch Panthers with a Hematoma Sweet Beaver 5.20 with the Owner CPS screwlock on 25 pound test attached to a tiny fishing rod. The cats go berserk over it and neither the 17 pounder nor the 14 pounder have been able to pull the screw lock out of the bait when they attack! I'm sold!

Comments: As I am getting old the centering pin is a great help for rigging plastics straight. I have removed the spring locks from all other brands of hooks. I always tell novice fisherman the best lesson I have ever learned was to rig soft plastic lures perfectly straight. This product helps greatly.

Comments: I have used this product quite a lot --- it holds the soft bait very well and yes I have had some pull offs myself when this happens I snip off the nose off the bait and reinsert the pin spring I have used soft baits this way till they are just plainly destroyed from use. Its a very simple product and works very well I always carry extras in my tackle box made up on hooks already.

Comments: If ever there was an item that turned soft plastic bait fishing into a snap for me it was these. Gave my worm hook inventory to my son and bought swimbait hooks and these springs....never looked back. I wish I could measure the time my fishing partner pauses to pull the plastic baits back up and straight while I continue to cast. They are better than the rest because of the centering pin, great when screwing on with attractant or anything slick or oily on the bait. Try some and see

Comments: They should make an XL size that's 1/2" long for larger swimbaits. Even the large 1/4" size pulls out of a 5" swimbait 99% of the time on a hookset.

Comments: Great product!! Get your paddletail swimbaits rigged up quick and straight with these..they hold onto your swimbaits nose really well if you match the right size spring to the size of bait.
