Overview
These offset worm hooks, from Owner America Corporation, feature the renowned Cutting Point exclusive to Owner hooks. These hooks feature a corrosion resistant black chrome finish and strong, heavy wire and a large radius wide gap. The secret is that this hook has an ultra-sharp point like other premium hooks but once the point penetrates, even hard cartilage and bone, the cutting edges actually make the hook push in past the barb easier, meaning less force is required to securely hook your bass.
This is accomplished by the fact that the edges of the point up to the barb are actually like knife edges and easily slice into the fish instead of acting like a wedge that requires more force the deeper it penetrates. There is a third cutting edge on the bottom of the point from tip to the barb, which helps the barb enter more easily. We have all had fish in the net and the hook just fell out of the bass' mouth, or worse, set the hook hard and have the bass coming toward you and all of a sudden, slack line and the fish is gone. Chances are the barb didn't get pushed home. Try these exclusive hooks and see if they make a difference in your bite to catch ratio.

Comments: These hooks are legit, I've been fishing them for a few years. They stay sharp for a long time and don't bend out with braid. They are the absolute best round bend hooks on the market!!! You won't be disappointed with these hooks.

Comments: My go to hook for 6 and 7 Senkos on the Ca delta, 5/0 Texas rigged. Great hook up ratio, strong, never bent one out, great barb that keeps them hooked even pulling them out of the junk. A+

Comments: These hooks are worth every penny we spend on them. I know they are expensive, but so are most things of quality. I was a Gamakatsu guy for years because that all my dad fished with. I saw the Owner Hooks with the Cutting Edge and thought they looked as if they would really go through thick plastics better than the needle points. So, I bought a pack and haven't ever looked back. I would say between River/Lake fishing I use soft plastics 80% of the time and the other 20% distributed between topwater & spinners/cranks. The quality of these hooks along with the Cutting Edge & Black Chrome (which i've never seen even a spec of rust on) is worth every dime. This review is coming from a guy who believes in value for dollar. Yes, they are a little more expensive than almost every other brand, but they make up for it in hook set.

Comments: Thick wire, O'Shaughnessy Bend, Cutting Point, Black Nickel Finish = Best Hook Period.

Comments: Sticks Fish! And keeps them pinned. The diameter is equivalent to Gamakatsu's Super Line hooks. Love the O'Shaunessy style bend and the Cutting Point goes through almost anything. Premium hooks.

Comments: Very Very Very sharp hooks. I would put money on this hook over any hook on the market. I recently started using the 5/0 for 10inch+ worms and it works beyond what i expected from it. I have had trokar hook, points roll over and it would never be sharp again. I've had other hooks flex on me. Not with OWNER!!! Believe it or not I have not lost a fish on these hooks yet. I used these hooks for the first time last year and i am definitely a believe in owner hooks now.
Comments: The best worm hook hands down sharp and stays sharp fish after fish nothing better.

Comments: After years of experimenting with worm hooks and being frustrated with so-called sharp hooks that weren't, I finally found an extremely razor sharp hook that works excellent for plastic worms. Exellent strike to hook up ratio.
