Re-visiting the qualities that made P-Line’s co-polymer a smash-hit when it was first introduced, the P-Line Original Line features a smaller diameter, decreased memory, and a suppleness that produces long distance casts on spinning or casting reel. The decreased line diameter gives anglers an improved line capacity without compromising strength or abrasion resistance. Popular with both Freshwater and Saltwater anglers alike, the P-Line Original Line delivers an improved co-polymer with unparalleled durability and an enhanced performance.
Comments: I give it two stars. For filler line it may be okay but not for bassfishing. It has no abrasion resistance. Line is small diameter which is why I purchased it but that is about the only positive I can say. There is a reason it is cheap. In fairness, if you change your line after each trip, like the pros do, then it may be okay. I usually change line about four or five times a year and it did not last for me. Maybe you will have better luck and it was just the spool I got. It cost me a lot of money and I will not use it again.

Comments: Great line. I use 10-12 feet of 20# as a leader material to braid for fishing swimbaits of all sizes and tie a blood knot. Never had a connection failure. I try other lines to experiment from time to time but I always come back to this stuff. I don't fish it straight because of the stretch that occurs with every mono/copolymer but great as a leader line. Great, low diameter stuff and highly recommended.

Comments: I have been using this line for a few years now. I noticed that one review said it would curl up and has alot of memory, that is definitely true, but at the pricepoint i dont mind re spooling. The line is very strong and abrasion resistant. I throw punchbaits at clear lake and throw a rigs and swimbaits and have not had a single issue. Handles 7-10 pound fish with no problem. I would recommend this line to anyone.

Comments: I'm usually not a contrarion when it comes to reviews but I am not overall pleased with this line. I have it in 10# test. Even after treating the line with KVD line conditioner I'm still fighting high memory curls non-stop and it hasn't gotten better. And all this was immediately done when spooling it for the first time. Also have had the line break on me a few times under what feels like normal casting pressure. Trying to tie this line to a leader or to my braid main line is an aggravating nightmare. P-Line has a great name in the biz so I thought I would give it a shot and the price point for 600 yards is GREAT but the performance for me just wasn't there.

Comments: This is bar-none the best monofilament I've ever used. I use flouro for many applications now, but I still use 10-16 lb. straight mono for walking baits, bladed jigs and swim jigs. This stuff casts like a dream, has low memory, and ties up strong. Fished it this past season through rip rap, dock pilings, and wood and it held up nicely. It has a lot of stretch, which is desirable for me because I tend to use stiffer rods with certain baits. A key advantage about this line - it LASTS. I know mono is cheap line in general and needs to get replaced every so often, but this line lasted me ALL SEASON - which I was not expecting by any means. I put line conditioner on it every 4 weeks or so, but I never re-spooled - not once. For many years I was sworn to Maxima Ultragreen, which is also great line, but it loses to P-Line Original in the memory department. Maxima (for whatever reason) always has a tendency to get crispy and rough over time, and if you don't replace it after a month or two it becomes a headache - especially on spinning gear. Will be using P-Line Original again next season!

Comments: Great Line at a great price. I hope TW keeps this stuff in stock and starts to carry the 30lb soon. This stuff is top notch for all applications. From: Ceaser: California Delta
Comments: About time! This is the best mono for the money. Super thin diameter, low stretch and strong. Use this line for flipping, ripping traps through grass and throwing big swimbaits. It's hard to find and this is a great price! I've paid a lot more for filler spools.
