Overview

Charge. Manage. Control.

The Power Pole Charge Power Station gives you power where, how, and when you need it. Doing the work of three different devices, the Power Pole Charge Power Station functions as a traditional battery charger, a charge-on the-run, and an emergency start system – all in one compact unit. Working to maximize efficiency, the Power-Pole Charge Power Station devotes more power to the batteries that need it the most, ultimately giving you more time on the water.

The 500-Watt Power Pole Charge Power Station delivers up to 40 amps of charging power to the cranking batter and up to 25 amps to the trolling batteries. Compatible with multiple battery types, include lead acid, AGM, Gel, and Lithium, the Power-Pole Charge Power Station is water-resistant and has built-in safety features and emergency start. Best of all, the Power-Pole Charge Power Station gives you real time battery status and power movement on your smart phone or tablet using the C-Monster App.

Features:

-Automatically moves power back and forth between cranking and trolling batteries
-Displays battery voltage and status data on your smart phone, Power Pole Vision tablet, or Lowrance unit (requires CM2 Gateway).
-Complete battery maintenance – uses float mode when plugged in at home
-Charges on the run from the alternator while the motor is running
-Works with all battery types – lead acid, AGM, Gel, Lithium, or TPPL
-Built-in emergency power transfer

Best Upgrade so farStarted with a stock Ranger battery setup with one Pb-Acid cranking battery on the alternator and two Pb-Acid trolling batteries that needed overnight charging to run on consecutive days. On board charger was required for trolling batteries and would only charge Pb-Acid batteries. Learned about Powerpole Charge from a local pro. Powerpole Charge allowed me to replace dual 12V lead acid trolling batteries with a single 24V Lithium phosphate battery (saved 75lbs of weight). Charger not only works for both Pb-Acid and Lithium-phosphate but also allows alternator to charge cranking and trolling batteries simultaneously. Plus you can monitor the charge and adjust the cranking/trolling battery input on the fly. From a practical standpoint I end the day with 80-95% charge on my trolling batteries versus 25-30% charge with the stock setup. Thus I am able to fish on consecutive days without needing access to 120V power to recharge overnight. Excellent feature when traveling for fishing trips.

Cold weatherIf you use lithium batteries with this product be aware that it will not work in the cold. It will not charge or move power in the cold. The product says optimal Temps from 32-104 but it will shut down in the 40s. Once it stops you have to warm it back up and do a hard restart to get it working again. After weeks of back and forth with powerpole they refuse to even attempt to rectify the sitiation. I'm now looking for a better option.

Comments: I'm running a 188 champion with a 150hp 1995 motor. With 3 AGM 100amp hour batteries to , two a 24 volt batteries for the trolling motor , one for the start battery and electronics . The electronics are 2 lowrance live 9" units. I have power for a clear picture for both units all the time on the water for all day fishing. I have up graded the wiring and each unit has its own power with .10ga.wire i had a battery start to fail, and the charger alerted me to the problem on the water. It did that though the power pole gateway nema 2000 connector that talks to my lowrance units a great add on ,easy to install and network!

Comments: I was having issues with power mgmt. I was running a 16" lowrance live, dual power poles, 12" lowrance live and 12" garmin with Livescope. Plus add pumps, oxys, lights etc. It was just a lot. I would occassionally have to jump start the boat. Now with the charge, I have yet to have an issue. Its a pretty awesome system!
