Comments: A good lure body but the split rings and hooks need upgrades.

Comments: I use this lure in the socal surf and have caught plenty of halibut and mackerel on them. These lures cast a country mile and swim great. I so a rip, rip, rip, pause motion and the fish love them.

Comments: This lure is a decent fish and fisherman catcher, and and a really good fish loser. By fish loser, I mean the split rings are abysmally awful. I'm far from being a "jerk them half way to the boat" hook setter. I'm mostly a light line guy who tries to give it just enough beans to set the hook to the bend and turn the head towards me. I lost three out of four hooks on two baits due to failed split rings on my first four three to four pounders. The People's Republic didn't source that batch of wires very well. I can't vouch if the hooks are any better than the rings, as they were quickly gone. The plastic shell is noticeably thinner and more flexible than on typical hard baits. It is air and water tight with the balsa being smaller, more roughly shaped blocks suspended inside. The "hybrid" idea seems like better marketing than actual physics. When a solid material is used to partially fill a sealed cavity, it's only real property becomes its density relative to air. More modern systems like weight transfers, etc, are far more expensive to make and install. They also do much more for performance than the added marketing hype. I bought these because I needed something different than I had with me and the corporate retail shop had a meager selection of mostly empty pegs. Fish did bite them.

Comments: My buddy and I went out surf fish in and he caught a 22 in Hali on the rainbow color and this is on the surf 12 lb big game line wow very impressed going to be getting a couple of these on my next order!

Comments: Very impressed with this bait.. I was using a strike king king shad and had gotten broken off by what looked to be a four or five lber. My buddy had one of these Bx swimmers and let me use it. On my fifth or sixth cast caught a beauty of a 9 lber. The bait had great action and the finish held perfectly. I wil be adding these to my line up for sure.

Comments: awesome looking baits, have not seen them in stores yet. Hope they come soon. Thanks TW for stocking up favorite new rapala lures. Ask rapala to make a joined flat rap. That would be killer on fish and add xtreme balsa to it. Good fishing TW and rapala forever!
