Overview
Constructed from premium balsa wood, the Rapala Shallow Shad Rap 7 Crankbait combines Rapala’s proven Shad Rap profile with a precisely engineered “L” shaped lip. Perfect for working through skinny water, the shallow running lip keeps the Rapala Shallow Shad Rap closer to the surface and allows it to still maintain the classic Rapala “wounded-minnow” wobble that fish love. Simply cast the Rapala Shallow Shad Rap and allow it to sit until the ripples subside, then slowly retrieve it back to the boat. Bounce it off of stumps, rocks and any other structure in the area, it generates vicious reaction strikes. Hand-tuned and tank-tested, each Rapala Shallow Shad Rap is built to run true right out of the package. Also equipped with black nickel VMC hooks, the Rapala Shallow Shad Rap allows anglers to utilize the effectiveness of the Shad Rap in an even wider range of environments.

Comments: This is an excellent finesse crankbait! I got the 7-size Shad color for my birthday yesterday and so far I've caught 3 bass and my PB Crappie out of the ponds near my house. The crappie was 2 1/2 pounds and this bait handled that fish flawlessly. I have more in the cart right now!

Comments: Great lure for mid-depth flats in the summer. Caught my PB on this bait. Would definitely recommend.

Comments: Beautiful balsa action and colors. This is one of my favorite shallow cranks. It's pretty durable for balsa, and comes with sharp hooks. I run into quite a few pike and these lures deal with them well.

Comments: I have found that this crank bait works well for not only bass. but if you are trolling for walleye it is DEADLY. neither fish can resist.

Comments: Best bass lure I have in my box (and I have QUITE a few). I like to work it like a jerk bait and it drives bass into a feeding frenzy! Never went home with the skunk in the boat when I use it. Shad color is my favorite, although Bluegill and Baby Bass work well too.

Comments: The best shallow water Shad-shaped lure I have ever used. My brother and I always catch something on these... especially size 5 & 7. One of our favorite and most effective techniques is to cast it out there and just let it sit (dead-stick). I have caught everything from bluegills and crappies to bass, walleyes, pike and muskies. Try it. This thing WILL catch'em... whether it's moving or not.

Comments: great lure, I always have one tied on this and the KVD silent square bill ante my two favorite shallow running crankbaits. The Crawdad color works the best for me.

Comments: Amazing lure, I cant seem to not catch fish with this. I've caught everything from little bluegills to major bass and pickerels on this lure. The best color is definitely the orange crawdad color.
