Comments: Despite it's size the Top Notch is a lot more subtle than a Whopper Plopper 110. Good for clear water or calm days. Gets big bites at times.

Comments: Bought one of these in Munky Butt pattern. First cast hit a rock bank and brought it back in and the prop was gone! it had broken off first cast. These Chris Lane items are worthless. Didn't even make a second cast. Trash! All my Chris Lane R2C lures are worthless. Broken props and no sound. Junk!

Comments: I bought a few of these because I own many whopper ploppers. it does not make as much plop noise as a whopper plopper. It is versatile though because it can be plopped in place, and it has a great finish. Unfortunately, the back prop is not made of soft plastic like whopper ploppers. If you cast it along shores which it is designed to be (top water) and it touches anything that is barely hard, it will crack the back prop and render it useless. Whopper ploppers wont have this issue since it has soft plastic props. It is way too expensive to own these and then get 1 or 2 cast, have it break and then sit..
