Overview
The Smash-Tech Baits Gizzard Shad Line Thru Swimbait is made to imitate the large baitfish that giant bass love to feed on. Featuring an ultra-realistic profile that is coupled with a hard thumping paddle tail, it generates an unbelievably natural and enticing action that bass won’t be able to resist. The Gizzard Shad Line Thru Swimbait works best on a slow retrieve, but it can also be crawled along the bottom or burned across the surface as well.
It comes rigged with a lightweight custom tin insert that won’t discolor the bait like traditional lead inserts, and it also includes a premium heavy duty split ring, as well as an Owner Stinger Treble Hook for increased hooking potential and ample power to land giant bass. Comments: Works great in clear water, want to fish it deep around schoolers?go for a smaller (but stout) treble and a tungsten bullet weight on your line. Awesome for slow rolling out deep. Keep mend it handy these are very soft that's why they swim so well.

Comments: Rigged up one with a 12" titanium leader to fish for pike and on the 3rd cast landed a 38". This lure has great action and runs true. Down side for me...it didn't hold up to well...but it was a big pike that bit it ;) It did slide up the line like it was designed to do to help protect the bait but the 'line trough' part of the bait now easily slides out of the bait. Gonna try some Mend-it. If these lures had a hard head to prevent this...they would be absolutely perfect. They already are a fish magnet in my book.
