Comments: Was in the Northwoods of Wisconsin using this promix 17 we caught alot of 15 to 18 inch smallest with no brake offs then I thought I hooked a musky but there was no pull finally after we got it to the bank it's was a water soaked log about 10 feet long this line is very impressive I'm a cxxx online guy but this stuff is equally tough maybe not as durable but pound for pound knot strength and casting it's a tie.

Comments: I have to be honest I never even thought to try this monofilament line. And I purchased it at a local tackle shop because I needed a monofilament in a pinch. That being said I took it out fished the weekend with it and I was mind-blown how great this line is. I've always had a bad experience with monofilament line so I tend to shy away from it. But after using it and Landing mini fish on it without problems whatsoever I think that it's amazing. As far as strength cast ability and overall performance it's very good. And so good that I suggested to login to tackle warehouse to leave a review on this line that to be honest with you I had never heard of until this past weekend.

Comments: Great line. Strong, casts well and doesn't have a lot of memory. I use it for all of my topwater and spinnerbait rods.

Comments: I don't understand the negative reviews for this line. It is the best low cost line I've ever used. It has very small diameter, and the clear line is nearly invisible in the water. It handles well on all my bait casting reels and doesn't seem to have much memory. The knot strength is excellent (I use the double Davey knot and the Uni-knot with no problems, ever). I use it as mainline for lipless crank baits, top-water baits, and some Texas rigged soft baits. It also works great as leader for braid and for Carolina rigs. It has low stretch and is pretty sensitive for a monofilament line. From: Red: McAlester, OK 1/12/21
Comments: Not sure how this line could get a bad review. It casts great, its durable and abrasion resistant! Plus its cheap. I have caught catfish with 6lb test that were pretty large and no issues with breaking off. Casts further than Power Pro. Love it!

Comments: I use the Sufix Advance line as a leader for deep rocky jigs. Like it so much figured I'd try this on my ultralight spinning rig. Promix 6lb test has caught me plenty of catfish, crappie, bass, and large bluegills. No doubt it is my favorite brand of copolymer. No use for mono or flouro this stuff is invisible, soft, abrasion resistant, and low cost! The best part is the abrasion resistance - in TN we have lots of sharp rocks.

Comments: Line flat out sucks. Never broke so many fish off in my life.

Comments: Not happy at all with this line. I was using 10lb test on my spinning reel.I was wading and hooked a nice bass I saw her side flash as she tried to turn her head and run.Definatly my personal best looking to be 8lbs or so. Well... The line failed and snapped and it was not at the knot as I had a perfect palomar knot and knew how much line was out.No doubt it failed! Snapped like thread! It was new line as I change my mono every trip.I have caught a lot of big fish like carp and catfish and even 7.5 lb bass and in 30 years of hardcore fishing I've never had this happen. So now its all braid and florocarbon leaders.I have found many other anglers who have had the same experience just check out you tube! So I wouldn't suggest this carp to anyone that is a serious angler. This line will break.

Comments: Small line diameter, very strong, doesn't fray easily, my go-to mono line.
From: Nick: Virginia 2/10/17
Comments: This is one of the best cheap lines on the market. This line and the McCoy mono are the two best mono's out there. The Sunline supernatural and Seagaur senshi are softer but you can snap them rubbing them accross your fingernail. This seems like the perfect mix of soft low memory and toughness

Comments: SO glad TW carries this now! I use it on both spinning and baitcast reels as well. This is a great all-around line and hard to find... until now. If you haven't used it before, for this price, toss a spool in your cart and try it.
From: Jay6: USA 12/17/14
Comments: This line for mono is awesomely smooth and very castable. A guide friend of mine put me on this and I love it. The only problem is it is a little thick diameter for line rating so you can go a little lighter than normal. Thanks TW for now carrying it.
