Comments: Good rod the 9' monster flippin rod. Light and casts afar. The handle is alil short I understand why but if you build a 9' with a shorter handle, you have to counterweight it. Now I need to figure out how to disassemble the handle to add weights.

Comments: Just recently picked up the 7'6 medium ledge rod, this rod is really nice and balanced well. I own the 7'11 heavy ledge rod and a 7' med heavy spinning rod and I can solidly say this series is well balanced and sensitive. I love the tip on the longer rods it goes against the tradition lews stiffness. I would recommend these rods to anyone looking for a nice rod made in good ol 'merica.

Comments: I own a lot of the lineup and they're all great but in particular, the Magnum Bass Rod 1 has been the best all around rod for me. I toss 1/2oz blade baits to 1/4oz shakeyheads on it with no issues. Sensitivity is probably the best among all the Lews rods.

Comments: I have now fished this rod 5 times and thought I would send in a review. First of all this rod looksgreat. I ordered the 7"3 MH and it is slightly on the stiff feeling side but not bad it still has good flex and imho is very sensitive. I paired it with a concept c 13 fishing reel and this combo will sling anything a mile. I have not had any problems with eye bending, the rod is fairly light and sensitivity is excellent. It feels really good in my hand. Overall I think this is a dang good rod and I have duckets, other lews, carrot stix, johnny Morris and other rods to compare it to. Overall great rod. Everything I have ever purchased with lews stamped on it has been excellent. This rod does not disappoint.

Comments: I had to write a review for this rod. The Lew's Lite rods are very nice. Guides aren't amazing but defiantly not a deal breaker. I never thought their rods were any good until I used my buddies for the first time. He had the 6'10" Lite Spinnerbait Rod and it was lighter than my Kistler Helium 3 7'0 MH. The key is to buy these rod during the sale and honestly nothing can touch it for the price. Highly recommended and the customer service is very good.

Comments: Picked up 2 of these rods. While they are light and very sensitive. The eyes are horrible. They Bend so easy it's not even funny. Honestly it's so bad I feel lews should either offer a replacement for them .or no longer sell them. Uea you can bend them back easily. But how many times before they break. ?? I can not recommend this rod .

Comments: Team Lew's Pro LFS-X5 Casting Rod 7'6" Heavy was the rod I decided on and as they claim it is light but not like a feather as I was expecting. I added weight to the but so it balanced in my hand with a Lew's BB1 Pro reel for flipping shoreline grass. After a recent tournament I placed the rod under my rod tie down on the front deck and the next morning all the guides were laying flat along the blank. I had to pry them back into position and now am very concerned how long they will last. Two other rods by St. Croix were unchanged from the same tie down. This was a bummer. Now I have to wonder how long before these guides break off. For the top of the line Lew's product I never would have expected this. Disappointed to say the least.

Comments: First off let me say lews customer service is top notch! I had a issue with a rod and they sent me a custom pro 7ft mh to replace it. First off the rod has a nice look to it the grip with cork and eva looks nice. The rod to me for a mh is under rated its more like a heavy action rod. It feels like a broom stick because it has no flex in the tip which I don't like , its just power all the way up the rod. My dobyns champion ex hp 704 and loomis nrx 845 both have flex in the tip and are both heavy action rods and imo will cast smaller lures and handle them better than this mh rod. I might just be spoiled from using higher end rods ($200 bucks aint no el cheapo) but I don't like rods that don't have flex in the tip , and if your looking for a rod that does the 7mh custom pro is not it.

Comments: This rod is great. I am a die hard Lew's guy when it comes to my casting reels. I have taken a liking to their rods in the last year. I purchased the 7ft Mh. It's a bit heavier than my Custom speed stick Finesse jig rod (7-2mh). I have a magnesium speed spool on both of them. Changed out crank handles to metal to make them balance better. Rod is super sensitive and has PLENTY of power. Makes the perfect close combat jig rod! 15-17lb fluorocarbon and you are in business. I throw a 3/8th ounce swim jig all of the time, this rod is great for it. Skips well, pitches well, super comfortable handle. It just down right works! Keep it wet!
