Overview
Designed for flipping into heavy cover and matted vegetation The Red One Miller Punchin Weight Wired offers anglers a unique rigging system that slithers into thick grass with ease. Since its weight is separated from the soft plastic bait, the Miller Punchin Weight Wired will pull the bait through small holes in vegetation much more effectively than a standard flipping set up.
It is constructed from one piece of stainless steel wire and doesn’t utilizes any split rings, swivels, or arms to increase its weedlessness, and its conical tungsten weight also penetrates through cover much easier than traditional bullet shaped weights. Armed with a 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG Superline Hook for phenomenal hook setting power, The Red One Miller Punchin Weight Wired gives anglers the most easy-to-use and weedless system available on the market for flipping into cover.
Each pack comes with one 3/4oz and one 1oz Miller Punchin Weight Wired fully rigged.

Comments: Absolutely love this setup. I don't do much punchin' where I am from in Maryland, but am staying in Florida for the winter. I tried the traditional punchin' setup with a 1 to 1.5 oz tungsten weight, but was missing a lot of fish. I switched to this setup and can get through the same type of cover, but my hook up ratio went from about 35% to 95%. I assume it's since the weight doesn't impede the hook at all sitting below the bait vs on top. It also works much better than Texas rigging for bedding fish. Similar to a dropshot, you can impart action on the bait while keeping it in one place. I have been using a Pit Boss as the soft plastic. In two weeks, I've caught a 10 lber and three 7s on the same Red One 1 oz setup. The wire just easily bends back into place, and the weight and hook are still in great shape. I just wish they sold them individually in 1 oz vs packaging them with the 3/4.
