Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait

Overview
The product of 18 different stages of prototyping, the Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait features a triple jointed construction and an unpolished finish. A great swimbait for herring and non-herring lakes alike, the profile and coloring of the Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait parallels many different species of baitfish. The swimbait mimics some of the favorite snacks of monster bass such as, the Blue Back Herring, Alewife, Hitch, Yellow Perch, Spot Tail, and the juvenile Rainbow Trout. The applications for the Bull Herring Swimbait don’t stop at freshwater. Its striking similaritiy to Mullet, Mackerel, and Sardines also allow it to be used for a number of saltwater species like, Calicos, and Speckle Trout.
Designed by angler and professional guide “Triton” Mike Bucca and his realist approach to bait manufacturing, the raw finish and frayed real-hair tail of the Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait create a strong likeness to that of a tattered baitfish. The triple jointed construction generates an alluring movement at any retrieve, from a blistering fast burn to a slow and methodical churn. Built with 3D eyes, high quality resin, and top-notch components, the Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait is a versatile swimbait that’s sure to satisfy the pallet of fish everywhere.

Comments: This is a great bait. Burning this bait is the best way to fish it. I use it with a 7:1 reel burn, pause, burn and it gets bit. I did upgrade the hooks like I do on all the baits I get if I feel they are not adequate.

Comments: I have a full arsenal of Bull Shads. IMHO the Bull herring is the most under rated swimbait they make & that says alot because his Shad swimbaits are incredible as well.

Comments: This bait swims very well at all speed and casting distance if very fair to say. The only thing i don't like are the hooks. I've had them bend and break off. Be sure to upgrade your hooks when you get this bait, otherwise you'll regret losing that big one

Comments: So far this is the best herring bait I have found. Works extremely well at burning which is my preference for fishing herring style of baits. I have gotten numerous 6lb spotted bass on it and have won several local tournaments with it. All that matters to me is will it catch winning tournament sacks and does it hold up and it meets both of those criteria for me! Everything else is secondary. Two thumbs up!

Comments: To the reviewer below, I'd recommend contacting Mr. Bucca if you're having problems with yours; because the two I have swim great at all speeds. I can swim them slow, medium, fast; and they do rip well like you say. This has been a great striper bait from me on the river; and has also produced both largies and smallies for me on Havasu. I've yet to find anything negative to say about these baits.

Comments: Yea don't buy this bait that leaves more for me. This thing swims like a champ and I'm starting to prefer it to my TT!

Comments: Someone finally made a bait that looks like a herring for our striper runs. Outstanding bait. Awesome action and very durable and casts like a bullet and most importantly gets LIT UP! I've gotten several stripes in the 20lb range on it.

Comments: Picked up one of these for a Calico bait. Took it out and stuck fish first trip out. Works well on a fast burn. Has a good slim profile. Going to be a keeper.

Comments: This bait is junk, junk, junk.. Joints are crooked and the bait looks like a child made it?? Stop the bait while swimming it and it just folds up, which is not natural.. I've made the mistake of purchasing a few of these baits, thinking I just had a defective bait, BAD IDEA! All have been junk
