Hook up and stay hookedI've used several "wacky" and "neko" style hooks through the years. I have favored the neko style for a while. I found my hookup rate is better with the neko, but it's easier for the fish to flip. Wacky hooks are much harder to hookup, but way harder for the fish to flip. I erred to the side of I'd rather lose a fish than never hook it. The issue is if the fish fights hard it can widen the hole in its jaw and drop the hook when it jumps. I've had more than one heartbreak watching a trophy bass drop a hook like it watched a how-to video.
Well let me tell you boys, this hook just changed that. The v bend has kept every fish pinned. I've landed a solid two dozen and not a single one has dropped a hook. Game changer.
Amazing Hook - Weedguard needs customizationCustomization: Use a fly vice and wrap the weed guard with tying thread for reinforcement. Then apply UV resin. It is worth the effort and the weed guard becomes fully functional and strong.

Comments: The hook is amazing straight up sticks them and holds strong. But the weed guard doesn't work at all!!! You can try adjusting it but then realized it does nothing I mean nothing! Still tho open water situations the hook is best if found.

Comments: Well it has about the lousyest weed guard that I have ever used. Just plain "bad" no protection at all. The hook is really great on it's on. I hope they will fix the weed guard. I won't buy this hook because of this really bad feature.
