Comments: Been using these for 2 seasons now. The size 0 is perfect for 1.5s and smaller cranks, if you have poor eyesight or soft baby hands you might want a size 00 for 2-3 inch cranks. The ends are kinda sharp and you will bleed a little getting used to opening these but as long as you are tuff and have grown man hands you will be just fine. The guy below who thought 00 was too small must have some issue other than simply opening a snap, they are not too small for any crank, topwater or jerkbait ive ever seen.

Comments: good very tight locking snap. hard to change lures .u might wanna use pliers and save ur fingers. i like the shape and the wire is pretty thick compared to other brands

Comments: I bought these not knowing what size to get for crankbaits like a KVD1.5 sqaurebill. I only bought 00. Don't buy 00 for anything. Get a bigger size. I'm thinking I probably need size 1. These 00 snaps are too small! They are the size you would want for a crappie bait, but they are impossible to open once you have them on a crankbait. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Comments: I bought these in several sizes. I like the shape and application. However, the wire is not springy and does not return with tension. After several lure changes, the snap won't close anymore, on any of them. No more for me until they change to a better wire.

Comments: I use size 0 for cranks. I'm too lazy to retie every time and I really don't think a tiny 1/2" snap can be detected by any fish, esp on a moving crank. This snap lets the bait move as if I've tied a rapala knot which I can feel versus a standard snap when using my cranking set up. Will buy many many more of these as I apparently like to lose many crankbaits, with these snaps attached, in reeds, trees, rocks, stumps, whatever. If there's something to get hung up on I'll find it so good thing these are cheap.

Comments: I use the #0 and #00 the most for bass . They are strong , have a great shape and are ideal for crank baits and top water baits making changing out lures fast and easy .

Comments:Oversized. #0 is great for oversized cranks. Who's gonna use #2? Saltwater fisherman?

Comments:Unlike other reviews, I found this snap to be a life-saving. The snap definitely is strong, as you will muster more force on the fingers to pry them opened, but they are extremely durable. I haven't snapped my line with these snaps yet, which I have landed many bass and a 8+ lbs carp on my spinning rod that I frequently use squarebill crankbaits. This is a good snap that allows me to swap out my lures, and I throw this on my line with confidence.

Comments:I took this out of the packaging, put 5 standard sized spools in it and a #2 pencil(perfect fit) through the hole cutouts in the lid and box. All the spools still slid side to side. Awesome idea but terrible execution with this offering from Plano. It's back in the box with the return label affixed. Disappointed in the lack of usability of this product and will be looking for a different, better thought out product.

Comments:These are a bit larger than the same style Evergreens or Owners and quite a bit cheaper. FYI, the 00 is rated #30 test, the 0 is rated #50 test and the 1 is rated #67.The VMCs will do the job, but the Owners are my favorite for quality.

Comments:These are nice for action with the round profile but I find they bend pretty easy when opening and closing them.
