The VMC Wacky Weedless Jig Head was designed with the help of Bassmaster Elite Series pros, featuring several key innovations that set it apart from other worm hooks on the market, integrating tricks and tweaks that tournament pros have used for years to put winning fish in the boat. For one, its hook point is offset by 3-degrees to greatly increase your hook up ratio, and it also features an extra wide gap that allows it to accommodate a wide variety of wacky rigged baits. The head is perfectly balanced as well to help elicit that crazy wacky jig head action, and its light wire stainless steel weedguard helps prevent snags, while not inhibiting hook sets. The product of 200 years of hook making experience and decades of tournament experience, pitch the VMC Wacky Weedless Jig Head into heavy cover - and go to work.
Comments: Good and sharp hook. Good hook up ratio and really easy to hook them. I just wish the weed guard would last longer. After several fish the weed guard gets beat up and will break. After that it is hard to keep them from hooking weeds.

Comments: I used these 1/16 oz 1/0. Caught 10 bass on it , but my weed guard broke before the tenth. However, hooking them was easy with this hook!

Comments: These work pretty well overall. I caught a 4.4lb, a 5.6lb, and several 2-3lber largemouth yesterday on one, its a little mangled but that's the price of doing business with light gear sometimes. My only complaint is that the hookup ratio seems about 50/50. I miss as many fish as I catch and often the hook falls out of their mouth after landing. But other times I have trouble removing the hook because it has them pinned so well. I will probably keep looking at other choices for this application.

Comments: Works good, hook is sharp and strong. However the weed guard is limber and annoying but I guess it does it's job. I fish the 1/8 ounce.

Comments: The best I've used.... hook is the perfect size the weedguard is sturdy enough to be functional but not too stiff to prevent a solid hook-up.... a 1/16 oz. VMC wacky head with a 4 inch stickworm or plastic worm is money in tough conditions.

Comments: This is my favorite wacky jighead. I use the 1/16 oz with a 4inch worm and the bass just kill it.
From: MATTHEW: Lake Texoma 4/4/17
Comments: Best wacky head there is! The weed guard will come off after a fair amount of fish. Most of the time you don't have to bother with a hook set because the fish will smack it, it's unusual that you miss a fish on here. All around great jighead. Great job VMC

Comments: Bought a few of these and after using them for a while found out a few things. The first is that they hook fish well, as long as you know how to properly set the hook. The other is that after 10-15 fish, the weedgaurd usually breaks off from being bent back and forth too many times. Not a huge issue, especially since these jigs are relatively cheap. They also do a surprisingly good job of coming through weeds, and even if you have to rip the bait occasionally, the weed guard stays in place. Definitely going to buy some more of these.
From: Matt: Kalamazoo, MI 10/21/15
Comments: switched to these after having an owner roll on me. Great hook hasn't failed me yet, did have one point roll just a tad when my girl got it stuck in a small tree, bent it back and she caught 3 more bass on it.
From: Thursty: Newburg, MD 6/24/14
Comments: Very good jighead for wacky fishing. The weedguard is nice and rarely will you get snags. The weedguard hasn't hinder any fish catches. Threw away my jackall jigheads and went for these.
From: Kevin: NC 5/10/14
Comments: great head no problems with weed guard medium rod with braid.
From: Jim: In
Comments: If your having trouble hooking up with these, it's a YOU problem, not the weedguard. These are fantastic, the weedguard lasts a lot longer on these heads than other brands, yet is not to stiff to hinder hook up %. Hooks are solid and sharp.
From: Basswipe: Meatwads pond
Comments: Hate the weed guard, really gets in the way and WILL cause you to not get good hooksets and lose fish. It just doesn't move out of the way easy enough, fish really have to choke the whole bait to get a good hookset. Probably not going to buy these again unless I'm in a pinch.
Comments: Not too bad. Works really nice with the Jackall flick shakes. One downfall is that these hooks flex over time. Other than that, its a pretty solid jig headFrom: Master Yoshi: Beijing, China
