Comments: These hooks are great, I use them for swim baits and flippin N pitchin, although these are not the heavy duty wide gap, I still have yet to straighten one out. I'm sure the flippin hook by vmc is good, I just don't care for straight shank hooks. The eye is welded or whatever they use to close it so the line won't slip out incase you tie snell knots like me
