Texas Rig Gear Guide
Designed to keep weights pegged in place, the VMC Sinker Stops provide an easy and effective way to prevent weights from moving while pitching and flipping. To attach the VMC Sinkeer Stops, simply run your line through the loop at the end of each wire, and then slide the stop onto your line – that’s it. Simple and straightforward, the VMC Sinker Stops provide a more optimized presentation in heavy cover, ensuring that you’re flipping and pitching baits are always looking their best.

Comments: The small or med. wouldn't hold up to a 1/16oz weight on 12lb Invizx fluro so I wouldn't suggest buying these for us on braid or fluro under 15lbs.

Comments: I like the idea, however I have found that with my style of fishing the stops don't stay put. I am a light line angler in general, however I prefer a pegged weight when fishing grass. I have found that when I use the smallest size stop, on 8-10lb fluorocarbon, with a 3/8oz (tungsten bullet), the stop rides up the line all the time. So the weight does not stay pegged and I am constantly pulling the stop back down. According to the Rapala site, 8lb line is at the top of the range for the smallest stop (see below), so one would think it would be fine. However, they do not stick for me. Perhaps the line rating is for thicker mono or another manufacturer's fluorocarbon. I'll be trying them on thicker diameter line to see if it changes my results. From the Rapala Web Site: Small: For Line Diameters Between 4-8 lb Test, Medium: For Line Diameters Between 8-12 lb Test, Large: For Line Diameters Between 12-20 lb Test

Comments: The medium are recommended for line sizes 8lb-12lb test. This should help anyone who is unsure of which size pegs to purchase.

Comments: The stops themselves seem to be very good quality but would it be so hard for the manufacturer to somehow label the holder to indicate the different sizes? I bought two different sizes, medium and large. I had to use some white gaffers tape and a Sharpie to identify the size.

Comments: Does what it's supposed to do. Cheap and comes in multiple sizes for different diameter lines. Best and cheapest sinker stops available.
