Overview
The perfect “line dance” partner, the Yamamoto Cowboy is an extension of Yamamoto Custom Baits' extensive line of highly effective creature baits. Whether it is utilized on the back of a jig, or for flipping and punching, the Yamamoto Cowboy’s large, J-shaped legs produce a prominent kicking action, like a cowboy dancing with his chaps on.
Bulky enough to provide secure rigging, but streamlined enough to slip through heavy vegetation, the Yamamoto Cowboy is accented with two sets of small, flapping appendages that provide a bite-triggering, secondary action. Offered in a range of Yamamoto’s most popular colors, the Yamamoto Cowboy is sure to become a fan favorite among anglers who are looking to wrangle up a big limit.

Comments: Absolutely phenomenal football jig trailer. They're soft, but the cowboys do seem a bit sturdier than most other Yamamoto plastics.

Comments: after seeing how these worked while fishing on a buddies bass boat as he was using one himself, he lent me one. Those are no joke! I loaded up on these 2 packs each (because they do tear easily while on the hook) on my selected colors (DK GRN PUMP PRP AMBER BLK for example), had it paired with a 3/4oz football jig while fishing the fall season and I couldn't keep the bass off of it as I fished it like a tube by sweeping my rod.

Comments: The cowboy has become my go-to for summertime jig fishing in murky water. Big profile, moves a lot of water, works well on the back of a 5/8oz jig. Nothing finesse about this trailer; it calls big bass when they're using water displacement to locate their food.

Comments: Expensive and fragile. So what? These baits are awesome. Big, slow moving target is what this bait is. Yamamoto baits are not cheap so move along if you are looking for budget baits.

Comments: Great bait, absolutely incredible. They just don't hold up, beyond my budget!

Comments: Fantastic product that always finds fish for me. The tails spin well even at a slow fall which really helps draw attention. Great texas rigged, carolina rigged, or as a jig/chatterbait trailer.

Comments: These baits catch fish. Now with that said, they don't hold up worth a crap. 1fish per bait and at over a dollar a bait there are better options out there, Strike King, Zoom, Yum all last much longer and still catch fish. The cowboys on a scale from 1-10 / action 9 / catch fish 8/ durability 1./ price 2 So if you don't mind spending a over a dollar a bait for 1 fish that may not even be a keeper, then these baits are for you.

Comments: I bought this bait based off a Youtube video recommendation and curiosity. Being a new bait, was unsure about it's performance. Now after using it, I can say without a doubt it's a big fish catcher. What you sacrifice in bites you make up with size.

Comments: The Yamamoto Cowboy bait is awesome! I used it on a texas rig, carolina rig, and as a trailer on a jig. All versions caught fish. I received these at the kayak young guns competition. Just like the Yamamoto Senko this bait will not let you down.

Comments: Tail is much bigger than you will find on the normal 5" DT grub. This is a good thing. Body is wide, another good thing. You can fish these a million ways. Hurry up and buy!
