When you really want to cook up a limit of big bass, the Yum Breaking Shad delivers the perfect recipe of erratic action and lifelike appeal that bass crave. Measuring 5-inches in length, the Yum Breaking Shad features a forked tail that generates plenty of darting action when twitched. Built with a deep belly hook slot, the Yum Breaking Shad delivers rock-solid hook sets with very little plastic to interfere. Offered in a number of bass-catching colors, the Yum Breaking Shad is sure to get fished "hooked."
Comments: Caught my PB on this Green Pumpkin Breaking Shad at my favorite local pond. Fish smacked it on the drop! There are some notable differences between this fluke and the Zoom Super Fluke so I'll go over it right now: -Plastic is more fragile than the Super fluke. These rip MUCH easier -Harder to rig. They come in with Yum's signature scent which causes it to be very slippery and hard to rig at first. Also your hook will slide up and down easier on the plastic which can be very annoying -The action of this fluke seems more robotic and stiff. It doesn't dart around erratically as much as a Super Fluke does but it does more of a gliding sweep than an erratic dart -It's not as heavy as a Zoom Fluke. There's some pros and cons to this but the main con is that it won't cast as far. Also the aerodynamics of this thing can cause it to tumble in the air and twist up your line. A pro to this lighter weight fluke however would be it gives off an amazing dying shad presentation. Just let it fall after a few jerks and fish just crush it Despite these differences, this is still one of hell of a soft plastic jerkbait. The main drawing power of this bait comes from the way it falls as soon as it hits the water or when you kill it after a jerk jerk pause retrieve. It ain't no Zoom Super Fluke but its still a worthwhile alternative to check out. Best rigged with a 5/0 EWG hook. Happy fishing ya'll

Comments: Let me just start by saying Yum is one of if not my favorite soft plastic companies. I love the value and fish catching ability of their line. This bait however I feel is a flop. The action is great, better than a Fluke in my opinion but the weight of the bait is the issue. I fish my Flukes weightless and I couldnât cast this bait half as good as a fluke. Seems too light. It may shine for other techniques but will not be in my regular rotation.
